Kyle’s P.O.V

“Ugh..” I groaned as someone shook me awake. I woke up to River’s shaking me, hard. I opened my eyes and saw River with a worried expression, his lips tight.
“What’s wrong?” I groggily asked, “They’re here, your gang.” he whispered.
My eyes grew wide, “R-Really?” I stuttered out.
I felt like smiling and laughing, but this wasn't the time to do that. Why was River looking so sad though?
“Whatever I say or do don’t believe okay? This might be ugly. They have my sister and I have to do whatever they say.” He hissed out clenching his fist till they were white.
I put my hand on his, “Let’s just do this.” I answered.
“Alright I have him!” River yelled, yanking me from the collar of my jacket.
“Good you have the faggot, let’s just go on and do the plan quickly. They already got past the shape-shifters.” A guy said.
“Right.” River said looking disgusted.
The 2 men tied me up while River was the look out.
“Did you see Joe take down that dumb-ass orange haired guy?”, laughed one man. The other man just laughed along with him Orange hair? Eagle?! Damn it I just hoped he was still alive. I started to growl and struggle a bit.
“Hey stop moving you little-“he yelled gripping me tighter.
“Silence him River.” He ordered. I saw River mouth sorry before knocking me out.

----------
I was finally conscience again after what had taken place earlier. My hands were tied together by a thick rope on an uncomfortable chair. I shook the chair that was chained to something.

 “Let me go!” I screamed.

“Shut up, kid!” a man retorted.

I was sure there were more of them. A dimly lit light bulb slowly came to life. My attention was to the sudden crash outside of the door. Who or what is that? Then, the door bust open to show Brutal. “Kyle…” he whispered. I couldn’t believe it, there he was. I was still mad about the River thing, but I’m pretty sure there was a good explanation.

“Tsk tsk, don’t come any closer.” River warned, coming out of the shadows.

“If I do?” Brutal questioned with a raised eye brow.

“Well, I’ll put a bullet in his head.” River answered.

“You wouldn’t dare.” Brutal growled. I looked at River, then Brutal.

 “Really?”, River chuckled.

He pulled out a gun and put it to my head. I felt sweat forming, my heart pounded. I was terrified, would he really do it? A thought echoed into my head, of course, he’d do anything to protect his little sister, even if it means to kill anyone.

“Look, don’t do this River. I know you’re a good kid.” Brutal said with a soothing voice.

He almost took a step forward when River hissed,

“I told you, not a step closer. Do you really want to save this freak?” he laughed,

“Do you know what he is?”

“No, please stop!” I cried out, “Please don’t tell!” I pleaded.

“He’s a necromancer, and a messed up one! Do you know what he could do with that much power? A freak for raising the dead without trying to! He could kill everyone in his path. Yet, we still experiment on him.”

I looked down; I couldn’t look at Brutal’s face anymore. He knows I’m a freak now!

“So?” Brutal scoffed, I snapped my head up surprised. “I knew that from the start, I wouldn’t kidnap him without researching a bit. No matter what, I love him.” Brutal glared.

Then why didn’t he ask about it? Was it because he wanted me to tell him myself, so he knows that I trust him? Is that why he didn’t pry when I pushed it away?

“Kyle, I know this is the end for me. It was nice knowing you for a while. Please take my sister and protect her. That’s the last thing I wish, for her to be safe.” He whispered in my ear barely audible. I nodded closing my eyes, “Take care, River. I’ll get her”.

“It looks like it’s over for you.” Brutal smirked. “My gang took down your men already while you were occupied with me.”

Brutal took out a gun and shot River, in the head. Everything happened too fast for me to move. I was paralyzed by the site of River’s body.

“Kyle?” Brutal asked trying to cut the thick rope off of me.

I felt a weird tingly feeling, I didn’t see the boys yet they killed lots of men lots of men.. . No, no stop! I tried to stop thinking of what the bodies looked like, but it wouldn’t disappear. Not now! NO NO NO! I heard thuds, thuds of something, a thing. “What the hell is that sound?” Blizzard asked his voice trembling. Even Blizzard was scared? Damn this was bad. “Something that’s not living.” I answered. Deep inside, I knew it was dead bodies the sounds of dragging and clawing themselves to me, the one that can control and release them.  I was shaking, scared. I thought this day wouldn’t come; I couldn’t help it but just be scared.

“Kyle! Calm down, release them before they come to close.” Brutal ordered.

Everyone tried to shot them, “Stop! They’re dead already! You can’t do anything.” I shouted.

I exhaled and inhaled, I tried to stop shaking. I couldn’t do it that easily with the moans and thuds coming closer. “Stop.” I whispered to the bodies, the thuds stopped. “Is this your power, Kyle?” Sorrow’s voice shook.  I opened my eyes, I saw it. A body, disorientated, twisted up in angle, blood dripping from everywhere, and white pupils starring. It hissed at me its neck dangling. I gulped down my spit and concentrated on what each body looked like, every detail.  I closed my eyes and concentrated releasing each one, apologizing.

“Ok, they’re normal dead bodies now.” Razor breathed out. “Brutal, Kyle you guys are going to explain what the fuck is happening.” Blade said. “Wait, what about Eagle?” I asked. “I’m sure he’s gotten to safety by now, let’s go.” With those two words we raced out to what awaited us. I’ll remember this moment and River. I’ll whatever it takes to fulfill River’s last wish….
