AppleBee's! -Chapter 5

Nicollet:POV

I pulled out of the drivway, Truthfully I have know idea where I'm going, I just know far away from my thoughts is good.

I just kept driving, Soon. I dont know how. I ended up in the church parking lot.

There were cars here so church must be going on... Today's what? Wednesdays? I parked and pulled out my phone.

'February, 7th, 2014. Wednesday. 8:08'

I heard laughing so I looked up from my phone, just a group of teenagers... And.. Katie?

I saw Katie look over at me, they all looked her way then she said something and they just kept on talking, then they all of a sudden started walking over here. I started panicking. Crap.

Katie made a signal to get out smiling, I just nodded and got out keeping my face normal.

"Hey! Guys this is Nicollet!" Katie said and I looked at everyone they all just smiled, they were some of the people in the drama.

"Hi." I said and waved looking down a little shy, they greeted me then looked at Katie.

"So Katie, can't wait for next month right?!" A boy with blondish hair and a colts SnapBack said... I think his name was Kyle...? Or was it Austin? Or Ryan? Darn... I forget...

"I so can't wait! Winterfest is going to be amazing this year! Like always!" She replied and smiled.

"So excited to go back to Tennessee!!" a girl I believe her name was... Harlie..? said.

"Same!" another girl said, I think her name was Brynnan...?

"So, Nicollet. do you wanna go out to eat with us?" Katie asked looking at me, everyone looked at me.

"Uh well-"

"Sweet car!!! I like the color!! How fas-" SnapBack dude gushed out, but Harlie interrupted him.

"Kyle! Shut up an let the girl speak! You can talk cars later!" She yelled at him then looked at me, "please, continue." she said and smiled.

I laughed an nodded, "Well, where are you guys eating?"

"Applebee's." brynnan answered.

"Ok, i'll meet y'all there." I said and opened my car door, "Actually, does anyone need a ride?"

"I'll ride with ya!" Katie said and hopped in the passenger seat.

"Anyone else?"

"Nah, me and Har are with Kyle. Chris, Austin, and Barbara have a ride with David, ally an Alicia are riding with Alicia's mom."Brynnan explained and I nodded.

"Ok, meet ya there." I got in my car and started it.

Then I got a text

From: The cuzz:"Are u ok?"

I just ignored it and looked back up from my phone to see two cars right beside mine, I jumped.

I looked to my right to see Kyle, and I looked to my left to see David.

"What the heck guys? trying to scare me half to death?"

Katie laughed.

"They wanna race." she whispered to me. I grinned evil.

"Okay."

I pulled out in reverse and did a quick U turn, pulling out of reverse and going forward and pulled around the church I heard their cars follow me and I pulled out of the church parking lot and started driving to Applebee's, I saw Kyle's car pull out and David's behind him. they both pulled out sharp and came up next to me. We pulled on to variety, soon passed Walmart almost there, I sped up passing Them both by an inch or two.
