This morning, this wonderfully rainy morning, I awoke once again to the sound of the neighbor's dog barking. This rather new occurrence has me questioning whether the neighbors actually like us or not. You see, they're quite new to the community. They moved into the yellow house across the street from where I live. Last month, I was completely heart broken when my boyfriend decided to surprise me with the oh-so-joyful news that he and his family were moving to Mexico. He didn't tell me why. In fact nobody did. I've considered the possibility that their choice was solely based on the amazing tacos. So, as of last week, the once vacant yellow house that once belonged to the love of my life is now occupied with a family who owns a dog. Anyways, these new neighbors. These new neighbors are like a raisin in a bowl of milk. Something to me is very off. And maybe it's because their dog is about as good looking as a scarecrow. Maybe it's the fact that the only time I saw them was when they carried in all 5 of their boxes to move in with.
"Alexis, you shouldn't be so judge mental! They're probably trying to get comfortable!" said my mother.
