"So...tell me about your crush.." Louis says.
Harry fake laughs, an awkward grin at Louis. "Erm...I already did." He says.
Louis tilts his head, "When?" He asked. Almost forgetting.
"The day I slept at your house." He mumbled, a blush on his cheeks as his avoided eye contact and twirled his index finger around a loose string on the carpet.
He kinda didn't want to tell him again. Especially after their kiss and he just thought it'd be weird. Maybe he really is clueless? Or trying to get him to admit it?
"Oh yeah, you did, didn't you?" Louis said and laid on the bed, putting his full attention on Harry.
"Mhm..." He mumbled, biting his lip.
"Well, I'm sure something has changed since all those weeks ago, right?" Louis asked him.
Harry thought about it. A lot did change since then.
"Well, yeah, a lot did actually change..." Harry didn't know what to say at all. It was awkward for him. Especially since Louis was always the boy he was talking about.
"Well? What changed?" Louis was strangely eager to know more. He doubted that Harry actually was telling the truth, I mean, he spent most his time with Harry he would have noticed somebody catching his eye, right?
"Well, why do you care?" Harry retorted, not upset, just confused.
"I don't know, I just do." Louis said.
Niall popped in just then, coming in and sitting on Harry's bed with Louis. "Ayo, what y'all talking about?" He asked, folding his legs.
"Harry's crush." Louis blurted.
Harry blushed and groaned, "He keeps asking me about him." Harry told Niall.
"Tell him then??" Niall said, confused on why Harry wasn't.
"Yeah, tell me. We've talked about this before." Louis pointed out.
"Okay, but that was before. We've kissed now and I find it awkward to talk about someone else to you after that." Harry admitted, tapping his foot anxiously.
Someone had to address it.
Louis' cheeks flamed, he couldn't quite believe Harry had exposed them so easily like that. Not that it was a secret to him, he just didn't expect that answer.
"Oof." Louis spoke, surprised. "Well, then. That doesn't matter, I mean, it was just a kiss. No biggie, right??" he said, trying to gauge Harry's reaction. To see if he'd care or want more than a friendship.
Harry folded his lips and nodded, feeling sad about Louis' answer. He had thought that kiss meant a whole lot, but maybe it was just a 'in the moment' thing. He decides to just tell him, make him jealous.
"Right, sure. No biggie. I'll tell you." Harry says, his new found mood and tone clear.
"Atta, Harry! Now how's things with him now?" Louis asked, being completely stupid and oblivious. For a person with a 3.9 GPA, he lacked in some areas of intelligence.
'Maybe just some common sense' Harry thinks.
"There great, we kissed too, in fact. We've been talking a lot and I think we might be able to be something."
Louis didn't expect that to be honest, he knows he should have because he asked but he just thought because they were close and stuff, nothing had happened.
