That's What You Get ~ Paramore

-

FRIDAY

I was at Calum's, with Calum and Michael, waiting for Luke. Ashton was going to be a little late. we were all standing there waiting for the birthday boy to get here.

Then, speaking of, Luke called.

"Are you ready to go?" Luke asked.

"No, no. I'm busy. I'm going to be late. You go ahead, I'll see you there." I said, acting as if I was at home getting ready.

"Oh. Well I'm pulling out now, I'll be there in a minute."

"Alright, bye." I hung up. "Guys guys he's coming!" We were in our places already, standing there.

Luke walked in two minutes later, and we all shouted, "SURPRISE!"

He smiled really wide, "Oh my gosh, guys."

"Happy Birthday," I gave him a bear hug.

"Thank you."

"Happy birthday bub!" Calum chirped.

"Happy Birthday, Mate." Michael smiled.

A couple other people I didn't know but had heard of were here, a couple neighbors, stuff like that.

Hazel came in minutes after Luke just got here. She'd been gone for two weeks.

"Babe!" Luke picked her up and kissed her.

"Happy birthday," she smiled.

"Thank you. Are we going to celebrate later?"

"We just might." She smirked.

"Haze!" I gave her a quick hug. "How was your trip?"

"It was good, I miss him. But we talk alot so it's alright. He said to tell you hi and good luck, to keep me out of trouble. I just got back around 9 this morning. Jet Lag has been kicking my ass."

"That's good to hear. Jet Lag is the worst when traveling," I sighed. "You must be a little tired."

"Eh, kinda. Just getting back in our normal time. There's caffeine so I should be fine." She shrugged and we made our way to the cake and drink table outside in the yard.

Ashton and Kara showed up, and they looked perfect together so far. It hadn't even been three weeks yet.

"So how are you and Michael?"

I shrugged, "We're great. I mean. I told him what happened and he didn't care. He's over it and doesn't get annoyed anymore."

"Speaking of Michael," Hazel said and pointed towards him. He was making his way over here.

"Hazel, welcome back," he smiled at her.

"Thanks, I'm glad to be back," She returned a smile.

"Hey, did the cake come in yet?" I asked.

"Oh, no. I'll go get Calum. I think we have to go pick it up."

I shrugged, "Okay. See you."

"Love you," he pecked my cheek and went off to Calum.

Hazel was freaking out. I forgot I hadn't told her yet. "When did this happen!! Tell meee."

I smiled, "It was the night we went to the fair with you and Luke, I think."

"Have you guys been saying it alot?" She asked.

I shook my head. "Not alot alot, maybe once every few days. We don't want to wear it out. I think we say it enough."
