Unknown:
- Time to wake up babyboy
- You don't want to sleep the whole day away

I frowned as the text messages disturbed me from my deep sleep. When I checked the time on the phone it was 12pm.

Jimin:
- And why not?

Unknown:
- It's bad for you to sleep too much

Jimin:
- Gee thanks for the concern

Unknown:
- You're welcome babyboy

I sighed and rolled over in bed, not wanting to get up. If I had a choice I'd keep sleeping until next morning.

But I willed myself to get up and headed to the bathroom for a shower. Afterwards I got dressed and went to the kitchen to look for something to eat.

I was hungry and figured I'd make something for lunch, but I had barely any food in the cupboards and fridge.

"I'll have to go out for lunch today..." I sighed.

I grabbed my keys and phone and left the house, walking down to the bus stop. I got off at the shopping centre and went in, heading for the cafe in the food court that I liked.

I ordered a drink and some food and sat at a small booth along the front window of the store.

While I sat there waiting, scrolling through social media on my phone, I caught a glimpse of someone familiar walking past.

I looked up and turned my head to see them more clearly and be sure that it was someone I knew, but they were gone.

A minute later and I heard their voice:

"Jiminie." I looked up at a smiling Taemin, holding a hot drink in his hand.

"Hey hyung!" I chirped. "Fancy seeing you here."

"I actually come here quite often, but I don't hang around." He said.

"I always come here and sit down to eat. I like sitting in the booths." I replied.

"Well, if you're not meeting anyone today, can I join you?" He asked.

"Of course! I wouldn't mind some company right now." I happily gestured for him to sit and he did so, opposite me.

"I actually came here because there was nothing to eat at home, but I'm glad I bumped into you." I smiled.

"I just came here after finishing a class and now I'm free for the rest of the day, so this was good timing." He agreed.

"I've kinda been meaning to ask you if we could hang out sometime to be honest." He added.

"Really?" I tilted my head slightly.

"Yeah. You always come to most of my classes and you're such a good student." He chuckled. "I feel like I should get to know you more."

"That's probably all there is to know about me though," I rubbed the back of my neck shyly. "I'm not really that interesting."

"I'm sure that's not true." He leaned in closer to me, resting his arms on the table.

"I don't know... I only have two friends and there isn't really anyone else in my life. I must be boring." I shrugged.

"Maybe people are just intimidated by your beauty." He suggested.

I gulped, trying to contain my surprise as I blinked at him.

"What?" I almost stuttered.

"You're so pretty, I bet most people are too scared to approach you and be rejected." He said it again, so confidently.

"Oh c'mon," I scoffed. "I'm not that pretty."

"Sure you are." His expressioned softened. "But I'm not afraid to approach you."

At least, I thought his expression softened. I was trying to gauge what was going on here, but I wasn't entirely sure.

"Why not?" I played along. "Is it because you're really attractive too?"

He laughed and I smiled shyly. What is happening right now?
