Link the hero

"Link...?" As i open my eyes to see a georgous, girl leaning over me. Her voice as smooth as a hot knife cutting through warm butter. "...yes...?" I said weakly but managed to say something, at least i knew what i was saying, for now. She looked at me as if i were suppossed to know something that i didnt. She then took my hand and held it close and said " its our anniversy! And today we are supposed to go out today, but i mean out of the palace and not just in the palace." As i look ar her i really didnt have anytime to tell her that i was supposed to see my family, but she took my hand and pulled me out of my bed and we headed down stairs. As we went down stairs, link nearly tripping over his own feet, zelda stopped suddenly, and link almost knocking her over. As i wait to see what zelda was about to say, i was getting alittle nervous. So i went down the stairs alittle and turned so i could see zelda. I said " wait...what are you seeing that im not? I dont get how this-" zelda quickly cut me off and said in a hushed voice " link be quiet. My parents are down stairs and their talking about something important. I can see that my mom is holding so sort of piece of paper, that...looks like an ancient scrol." Link waits to see what zelda what zelda says next, and i was about to say something when zelda goes running down the stairs, nearly knocking me over the banaster. zelda runs down the stairs, and quietly creeps by her parents into the next room. I follow her, not doing such a great job of sneeking as zelda did, but managed, to get down and into the next room where zelda was. Zelda gestures to me, and says in a quiet voice but sturn, "link get over here i need to show you something." As I walk over to her, i pause...and i look where shes looking, but i dont see anything. I was about to say something, when i realized what she was looking at was not infact a scroll, or anything of that type. she was looking out the window in horror. As i see her face turn white. and see the blood drain from her face. i look out the window, and see the towns people running franticly, all over the place, and i also see what i think is a very tall and dark creatures roming about in the town. They sertanly did not look welcoming, nor where they ever welcome. Zelda turns to me with her expression, to make my face go pale. and says " LINK DO SOMETHING,,,NOW!" I draw back in suprize of how upset Zelda really was. i then noticed her dropping to the ground, like a bird that has just be shot from 500, feet in the air. I catch her, and smooth her hair, and i lift up her chin and see shes now crying. and i say in a hushed voice, " hey, its going to be okay. i will fight to the death if thats what it takes for me to be the hero, of hyrule." she looks up at me and says in a choked voice, " i dont...want you to...be...any...hero,......link...except...mine...I love...you...and...i want it...to stay...that way...forever." I looked at her, and i said " dont worry what ever is happening out side in the town, will be done, and it all will be fine. Trust me. Please zelda...i need you just as much as you need me." She gave me a sweet, but worried smile, but i knew that she did trust me...no matter what the situation was. I loved her alot, so then why dont i have the nerve to say that? Well right now, i would think wouldnt be such a good time. Consitering the chaos thats brueing in the town. Zelda looked at me and sharply said "Link you must go NOW and save those who are in trouble!" i nodded, and took off without saying anything. Is that right for me to do? I dont think so. When you have the whole town, almost becoming as if it were extinct...i dont think i have a choice here. Nor did i ever think i had a choice from saving the world, or going to the nearest icecream place, and having mint chocolate chip icecream. Saving the world was always my first job, the second was eating ice cream, or hanning out with Zelda in the field. I raced outside, got my sword, out and i ran, as fast as i could, and once i saw the shadow, creature...i froze dead in my tracks. Shadow creature, turned around too look at me...well if you really want to know. it had no eyes. Im guessing its based on the senses, but im not excatly sure. I looked at it, and saw what was in his hands, blood. dripping down, and hitting the ground like the first rain drop of all time. it was weird but it was also something that i was going to defeat. The shadow came closer, and i drew, my sword, ready for battle, no matter if it was a life or death situation. I was doing this for mainly Zelda, but also the poor people in this town.
