Chapter 11

(Y/n)'s POV
"let's get going. I need to go home. My husbands waiting for me so we can eat dinner" Mina said as I finally got into her car. Having to move slow because of all the cuts on my legs and arms. Though they were all bandaged.
"Sorry. Tell Yugyeom sorry too" I said as she drove to our workplace. It being nighttime.
"I'm sure he won't mind especially since he knew you were in the hospital. And here.." she said as she stopped at a red light. Reaching towards the back quickly before sitting back down properly. Giving me a bouquet of red roses.
"Thank you" I said smiling
"don't thank me. It was from Yugyeom. He said he hopes you get better soon and that you should visit soon again. We love your company. Plus we're having a kid" she said and my mouth opened in excitement.
"I can't wait! And I'll definitely visit soon! Tell him thanks for the roses and the get well message. Remember. If you guys ever need a baby sitter or just need help watching the baby. Call me without hesitation. I'll always be open for your family. I don't care if I'm coming from work or anything. Just call me" I said smiling as she stopped the car in front of the building.
"of course. Thank you so much loves. I'll also tell Yugyeom you said thank you for the roses and message" she said and I nodded soon getting out slowly as I flinched in pain. Shrugging it off as I waved bye to Mina. Holding the bouquet of roses in my arms as I watched her drive off.
Soon getting inside as I went to the 15th floor. Once there I smiled lightly. Most of the workers were gone. Though on this floor. Yea most of them were gone but Jimin, Joshua, J-Hope, Jackson and Dino were still here. Since it was Thursday we had the choice of leaving at 8. But some of us stayed back to finish work.
"your not allowed on this floor. It's a restricted area for other officers" Jimin said as he didn't bother looking up from his computer. Making me smile.
"So my desk is being moved?" I asked playfully as his head shot up, J-Hopes head shooting up too as he was in the corner of the room, copying some papers near his desk.
"catch me!" J-Hope yelled as he was running towards me though Jimin luckily pulled me away in time. Making me let go of the breathe I have been holding.
"Thanks" I mumbled as I stood up straight now. Still holding the flowers in my arms.
"no problem my lady" Jimin spoke playfully as we laughed a bit.
"anyways what's up with the bouquet of flowers?" He asked as J-Hope got up from the ground.
"Ah. Yugyeom gave them to me" I muttered as I smiled, looking at the 12 roses.
"Yugyeom?  Who's that?" He asked as J-Hope also have a confused look.
"My friend" I muttered
"why didn't you catch me?!" J-hope said after I had made my response.
"she can't over work her body right now!" Jimin scolded.
"noona!" Dino called out. Both of us being born in the same year. Though he liked calling me noona.
"dongsaeng!" I heard Jackson holler out in his cheery self as he too ran over. Dino hugging me tightly as I made a pained face.
"T-To much" I whispered in pain as Dino quickly let go of me.
"sorry noona" Dino said as he scratched the back of his head sheepishly.
"It's alright. You didn't mean it" I said as I smiled at him. Though my eyes drifting to Joshua who hasn't looked up at all yet. Only to realize he was wearing ear buds.
"ah. Joshua has been listening to music for hours now. Blasting it since he's doing a lot of paperwork... his desk suddenly got loaded" Jackson said and I felt guilty. Glancing at J-Hope and Jimin who were talking as J-Hope was waiting for his papers to be copied along with Jimin's.
"Hyung has been getting more paperwork the past days all of a sudden. And it's kind of sad.. he's been staying here every night. Last one out and we don't actually know when he leaves" Dino said as we stared at the male who worked on the loads of paper.
"noona you smell good" he said all of a sudden as me and Jackson looked at him with blank faces. Before I realized what he said.
"I just came out of the hospital!" I told him as he laughed. Jackson doing so too. "no.. you smell like strawberries and vanilla" he said as he leaned in. Smelling my neck as I laughed.
"I get that a lot" I said remembering the compliments from workers and strangers.
"I don't know how I even got the scent though" I mumbled smiling as Dino hugged me gently. Keeping his nose buried in my shoulder.
"Well I know what to get Dino for Christmas" Jackson said laughing before he walked towards his desk to continue his work.
"Yah Hyung! She just smells nice!" He said in return as he continued back hugging me, making me laugh.
"you really do smell good though noona" He said and I smiled. Unwrapping his arms with one hand as the other held the roses.
"Here then" I said as I took off my hoodie. Making him smile as he hugged it.
"Thank you." He said as he smelt it, not in a creepy way though. Just in a way when someone likes a smell. Giggling softly I fixed my long sleeved shirt before walking over to my desk as Dino went to his.
Placing the roses onto my desk before walking over to Joshua's desk. Seeing him work nonstop as he didn't bother looking up.
I then went to grab my grey cushioned office swivel chair. Rolling it over to Joshua's desk as I placed it beside him. Catching his attention as I slowly and carefully sat down.
"I-I thought you weren't suppose to be back until 3 days later" he said as he took out his earbuds. His eyes a bit wide as he looked at me. Ear buds in one hand. Pen in the other. His head only turned to me.
"Yea But Kyung Mi-ah wanted me to get discharged at night today.. so here I am" I said before flinching as I felt Joshua's fingers against my forehead. Though it retreated as I had now remembered I had bandages around my head.
"Ah.. they're still healing. I was told to take things easy" I mumbled smiling softly as I looked at the papers he was working on
"you should go home and rest" he mumbled as I tightened my ponytail slightly. Only to stop as my head started to hurt a bit.
"No. It's fine.. plus I felt bad when I had been told they gave you my work so I'd be caught up when I came back" I said still looking at all the papers as I still felt him looking at me
"it's fine (N/n)" he whispered as he placed his hand onto the back of my neck. Making me flinch again in pain as he touched the cut on my neck. His hand retreating as he sighed.
"you were almost cut everywhere. Go home please. I'm fine" he said but I just huffed.
"Your not changing my mind. Dino told me that you've always been the last to leave and they never know when you leave" I said and he went silent as his hands went back to the paper he was writing on. Only looking at it as he avoided eye contact.
"Joshua.." I whispered worriedly.
"How long have you been staying here to finish my work?" I asked.
"none of your business" He mumbled and I frowned
"Isn't it my business if its my work?" I asked and I saw his jaw clench.
"Look your not even signing your signature in the right spot.." I mumbled as he dropped the pen on the desk, standing quickly as he gathered his things.
"gosh just shut up" he said through gritted teeth. Gathering his things before he left. Biting my lip. I closed my eyes and sighed.
"What have I done?" I muttered before standing up. Only to sit back down as I felt a sting in my right calve. Raising up my joggers only to see the bandages get soaked with blood.
"Jimin! J-Hope!" I called out
"Yea?!" Jimin called out as I placed my jogger pant down.
"C-Can you help me bring these to my desk?!" I yelled back before hearing their footsteps approaching as they nodded their heads. Helping me bring the 2 stacks to my own desk.
"call us over again when your arm starts hurting. Don't forget. Take it easy" Jimin said and I nodded my head. Thanking them as they nodded, soon going back to their desks.  Sitting down on my chair that I rolled back to my desk, I took out my phone. Only to sigh as I looked at the time.
"Jackson" I mumbled before standing up slowly.
Walking towards his desk as he looked up at me approaching.
"May I get a ride home since you live closest to me?" I asked since his house was only 2 houses away from mine
"of course" he said smiling as I returned it soon thanking him as I went back to my desk.
Getting started on my paper work Joshua had done for me.
As an hour passed it had already been 9:32 and me, Jackson and Dino were leaving. Jimin and J-Hope staying back saying they were fine. As we got to Jackson's car, I climbed into the back seats as Dino took shotgun.
"we'll just drop Dino off first (n/n)" Jackson said and I nodded my head.
-time skip-
I shakily got off my bed. Only to lay back down as I felt really pained.
After a while I sat up feeling better. Checking the bandages on my arms and legs. Seeing only my right calf bleeding a bit. Going into the bathroom as I checked the cuts on my head and neck. Nodding proudly as they had been healed already since they weren't that major. Soon enough I got dressed in joggers and a plain white t-shirt since I wasn't able to wear any skinny jeans at the moment since it would just hurt with the cuts though they were bandaged. Soon I slipped on ankle socks and proceeded to put on vans. Leaving my cozy home with my hair tied up as always. An over sized jacket in my arms as I had my phone, walkie talkie and other things I needed for the day.
I looked at the time as I started up my Lexus RC. Sighing as I realized I had been resting for an hour to get the pain away. Which meant I was late as of now. Soon enough I was driving to the department. Getting out with the things I brought into the car and checking in.
"for a second I thought you weren't going to show up" Rap Monster said as he stood behind me while I had been talking to the officers at the counter about a recent crime that happened.
"Ah. Sorry. I woke up and my body was in pain. So I tried resting and didn't realize how much time passed by" I said before saying bye to the officer at the desk and going to the elevator with Rap Mon. Going up to the fifteenth floor
"no need to be sorry (Y/n). I understand. It's fine" he said and I nodded. Smiling as him.
"anyways. We're going on a mission. You're coming too. But you won't dress up. You'll be staying in the car. We need your hacking skills for today" he said and I groaned.
"Am I staying in the car alone?" I asked and he shook his head no. Making me sigh in relief.
"Here we go with hacking... well you know the drill then" I said and he nodded. The elevator making a ding sound as we made it to the fifteenth floor. "everyone come here!" He said as everyone on the fifteenth floor stood up from their desks walking over.
"can you get Woozi? He's the other new hacker" he said and I nodded. Going back into the elevator and going to the floor below.
"Woozi!" I called out smiling as he looked up from his desk. Soon jogging over as he entered the elevator with me.
"We'll be working together for a mission today" I said and he nodded. Smiling lightly as we made it to the 15th floor.
"is that why you came in those clothes?" He asked confused
"Ah no. I just arrived and I'm only allowed to wear specific clothing my doctor said that I could" I said smiling sheepishly and he nodded his head.
"ok. Everyone's getting changed. I assume your laptops are with you" Rap Mon said and we both nodded.
"go to your car (Y/n). You guys are staying in there. But at the department while we go ahead. Your disabling the building cameras. Putting it on repeat to where you can't see us so the security won't know" he said and we nodded.
" we sound like spies" I said with a chuckle though Namjoon didn't laugh.
"we technically are spies and cops at the same time. Only the 15th floor with a few of the 14 floor officers. All top workers" he said and I nodded. Pursing my lip.
"Oh then that reminds me. What is Joshua doing and what is Woozi's Partner doing?" I asked
"my partners are actually always changing. Just like now. My partner changed and it's you and Joshua" Woozi said and I nodded
"and Joshua is coming with us. Just won't be with you since we need all officers on deck for this somewhat spy mission" RM said and I nodded
"What will he be doing?" I asked
"he will be with Dino for today" he said as they all returned wearing casual outfits. All with mics attaches to them as me and Woozi went downstairs to the basement floor. Where we went to get more equipment. Which ended up being headsets in a storage room for equipment. Soon me and Woozi met up with the others again as we all had our cars again.
Me and Woozi leaning against my Lexus RCF.
"Is Mingyu and Vernon not coming?" I asked as I realized the two were missing.
"we're right here" Vernon said as him and Mingyu came running out the building.
"Ah. All 15 of us are here now" RM said and I just looked at him, shrugging.
"woah. Sick ride" Mingyu said as he went closer to my grey car with a cyan stripe.
"Thanks" I said as I smiled gently.
"Alright. Seating arrangements are... With (Y/n) is Woozi, Dino and Joshua..." RM stated as the other two boys walked towards me. Joshua avoiding eye contact as I assume he was still mad at me.
"in Jins truck is Jin, me, Vernon and Jungkook.. with J-Hope is S.Coups, Jimin, and Mingyu. Lastly is Suga, Jackson, and V" RM continued as everyone went to where their driver was.
"You guys get in your car. Wait in the back. We're going to the back to get our cars" he said and we nodded as I unlocked my car. Going over to the passenger side and opening the door as I pushed the seat forward so Dino and Joshua could get in the back.
Once they got seated. I pushed the chair back to how it was and Woozi got in, while I went to the drivers seat as he closed the door. Closing the door on my side I placed my laptop on my lap as I drove from the front of the building to the back where all the staff parking was. Passing the other 11 as some of them patted my car while I drove by. Parking in my usual parking spot and turning off the car.
"wait. What's happening?" Dino  asked as I took out my laptop and so did Woozi.
"We're staying here until we get the cue to move apparently" I said as we watched the others get into the cars they were assigned. As Rap Monster jogged over to my car. Opening the car door as I took off my seatbelt.
"it hopefully won't take long until you guys can get a move on. For now. You and Woozi know what to do. Other than that you two are to keep these two safe" RM said as he pointed to Dino and Joshua who nodded their heads.
Soon he left as all 3 cars left. I put on my headset as I dropped the mic down to my mouth. My headset only having one speaker as my other ear was open, no headphone on it. Soon enough me and Woozi started hacking into their system.
"can everyone hear us?" Woozi asked as we typed away. Dino and Joshua watching us.
"everyone in my truck can hear you perfectly" Jin's voice ring through the headset speakers
"same here, Woozi and (n/n)" Suga replied
"everyone's but Jimins" J-hope said and I looked up at the wall ahead of me confused.
"Did you guys check the cords?" I asked as I continued hacking again. Both me and Woozi finally getting into the system.
"it's all wired correctly!" I heard Jimin from the background of J-Hopes mic. "stay with someone then" Woozi said as we just waited now. Me and Woozi done hacking as the cameras were on repeat, seeing as no one was in the hallways which made it easier.
"Get in. You guys don't have much time till they notice" I said into my mic as me and Woozi pulled up what the cameras are actually seeing. Woozi having 4 open on his screen as I had 4 open on my screen too.
"We'll take the left wing" Suga said as him, Jackson and Taehyung moved to the left side of the building.
"we will take middle. Hope your taking right" RM said before they all walked off in the groups they came in.
"it's been 10 minutes" Dino muttered as time passed.
"just in time. You guys are bored waiting. And someone just got caught. Vernon... oh god. Rap Monster. Your group needs to start running. Suga, Hope your groups need to quickly get out of that room. Take whatever you need and run" Woozi said as I started typing away on my computer. Locking the metal doors of the rooms all the people in the building were. Keeping them locked as the security at the other side tried unlocking it.
"R-Run. I can't keep the doors locked for long" I said as I got denied access locking the doors in the main wings.
"Rap Monster you guys need to sprint. I'm not joking, leave" I said
"we're moving" RM said as I heard grunts from their sides.
"Suga did you guys get what you guys needed?" Woozi asked.
"Yea. We're getting the hell out of here now" Suga replied back as I bit my lip.
"We need assistance.." J-Hope said panicked
"(Y/n) you guys need to come over now. My group can't enter again. We're heading back. Turn on your built in sirens" RM said as I did as told.
"Hold this" I muttered as I closed my laptop giving it to Dino. As I pressed a few buttons. The sirens soon blasting as I reversed quickly.
"Guys. Hold on this is going to be quick" I said as the three boys looked at me with bewildered looks as I bit my lip. Shifting the gear to drive as I sped my way out of the parking lot. Making sharp turns.
"where the hell are you guys?" J-Hope asked.
"J-Hopes team is the only one left in there. Namjoon guys left and we're leaving right now" Suga said as I heard a couple gun shots.
"I see Jins truck. J-hope you guys just hang on" I said as I went faster. Woozi holding onto the handle on the roof.
"your a crazy fast driver!" Dino said and I smiled. Before quickly turning in the direction of the building. Opening my window as I had my gun in hand. The three boys getting out of my car as I soon then followed.

Anyways again sorry if you see the names Eun or any name that's not yours (besides the characters in the book) this story was written before hand for a friend who said I should publish it.
