Chapter 18: Ultimate Power

- 1 day later 

After all the mayhem, nothing had happened. 

Nothing. 

It was strange 

Super strange. 

"Guys? Have you noticed that Astra hadn't attacked lately?" Gemma noticed. 

Vega nodded."Weird, she must be up to something." 

"So... What do we do?" Libby asked, 

"What we always do-" Sage started, then her mind went blank,"I have no idea," 

"Any ideas?" Leona asked. 

Tessa shrugged along with everyone. 

"We got nothing," Cassie shrugged,"You should have something- you are the leader," 

"Yes,well..." Sage still had nothing, it was hard to think of something to stop your enemy when your enemy was currently inactive. It was like trying to stop something before it even happened, like planning for WW3 and not using that plan for a millennia. 

"She has nothing," Scarlet said,"Total nothingness," 

"Argh!" Gemma fell on the sofa,"we can't be heroes without a villain! What is Spaceman gonna think of me?!" 

"Well- we can leave bait," Piper looked at Sage. 

"Oh no, we are NOT leaving  Sage as a perish-invitation," Tessa protested. 

"It is a good idea," Adora said as everyone nodded. 

-Later 

"Ugh! Nothing's happening!" Gemma watched from a bush as Sage was walking around in a meadow. 

"Shh!" Piper shushed Gemma. 

"I have you just where I want you," Said a creepy figure hidden somewhere. 

"Did you hear that?" Libby said, slightly afraid. 

"Yep- what was it?" Clover asked. 

"No idea, and I don't wanna know," Leona said. 

Suddenly a burst of red negativity was blasted at Sage. 

"Sage!" Cassie yelled, 

"Starlight Connection!" Tessa chanted as she transformed, "everyone get back!" 

"Finally! A proper superhero battle!" Gemma said excited,"Starlight Connection!" 

The rest transformed, 

"Astra! What are you doing?!" Piper shouted, 

"Getting revenge!" Astra answered in a rageful and evil voice. 

"Wow-" Scarlet said impressed,"Nice demon impression," 

"Thanks- I've been practicing," Astra said in her normal voice. 

Astra looked really different this time. 

For starters she was paler, like, Snow White paler, the black veins were even more visible. Her red hair was slightly longer, and the trademark Aries horns were on her head, they were white, but had black veins and ombréd from white to blood red to smokey black. Her  eyes were completely white with black veins. Very creepy. a red dress with the hem cutted to look like fire, topped with a black leather jacket with gold accents.  Black Curvy Aries symbol designs were on her right arm up to her elbow and left leg.

"Wait a starmin- you used that transformation spell from the book! Didn't you!?" Piper figured out. 

"Yeah- so what?" Astra said with a very rude attitude. 

"So we're calling the president of starland!" Gemma yelled,"or at least stop you ourselves,but I really wanna meet the First Lady!" 

Astra rolled her eyes.  

"Anyway-" Clover said, "Let's just defeat you already," 

"That might not happen," Vega said," that transformation spell does make  the person ultimately powerful" 

"So- how do we stop her?" Adora asked, 

"I'm not totally sure-" Vega thought. 

"So this is like Janos and the Astrovengers, huh?" Gemma made an action pose,"you shouldn't mess with the daughter of Gemini!"'

"And you shouldn't mess with the daughter of Aries," Astra rolled her eyes again. 

"True, Aries is the anger sign." Vega mentioned, 

"I do NOT have anger issues!" Astra yelled angrily, 

"Really?" Leona lifted an eyebrow. 

"Girls, we should just battle already," Sage said annoyed, 

"Fine - I'll do my signature move then!" Gemma shouted. 

Gemma did her signature Glow-Plosion(horrible pun, I know,) move. 

"You know that doesn't work against me," Astra evil chuckled and did a counterattack. 

Gemma fell to the ground and got up annoyed, 

"Ring Of Pisces!" Piper chanted as a ring appeared. It ran along her shoulders and up into the air and magically made a sonic, but harmonic(hey,that rhymes,) blast. 

"Nice move, you should call it Sonic Serenity," Gemma suggested. 

"Amateurs," Astra rolled her eyes magically targeted it at Piper. 

"Oww!" Piper shouted as it  hit her head. 

"Starf, she's too powerful! Abort!" Tessa yelled pushed Gemma away. 

"Aww, but it just began!" Astra evil smirked. She snapped her fingers and the ground shook with surprisingly powerful negative energy. 

"You can create earthquakes!? Who are you!? Poseidon?*" Vega yelled surprised as she fell down. 

"The more powerful you are, the more you can do," Astra answered while evil chuckling. 

Sage fell to the ground. 

"I'm coming Sage! Don't move!" Cassie yelled and ran toward Sage on the shaking ground. 

"Not on my watch," Astra made a wall of negative energy around Sage. 

"Listen to me everyone! Go back to the constellation council and ask for a way to stop to this! I'm not totally sure power crystals can help!" Sage instructed. 

"Yes, Ma'am!" Gemma did a salute and ran with the others. 

"You've made a mistake,Sage," Astra folded her arms."Sending your precious friends away so your all alone," 

"We'll see about that," Sage narrowed her eyes at Astra.
