I step out of my house and walk down a couple of steps. My eyes glance at the car in the driveway and I sigh. As, I hold onto my purse, located on my shoulder, my attention is taken by a crowd in the crosswalk. My breathing speeds up and starts weighing on my chest, so I look down at my feet instead. After a few minutes of walking and looking up to see where I was going, I safely arrive at the cafe. Mentally preparing myself, I take a deep breath.
I hesitantly placed my hand on the cafe door, softly pushing it open. I get in line, waiting to order my coffee. I look up at the menu, even though I already have my order in mind. I needed a small distraction from the people around me. Emphasis on small. It was the only thing that could provide some semblance of comfort, so I used it to my advantage. I started tapping my foot and rubbing at my elbow pretty soon. The menu wasn't helping anymore, I started focusing on the crowd. I gripped at the edge of my shirt, my hand was getting clammy and my heart was starting to race from an unknown fear. I glanced at the door, an escape. Freedom. I was about to start moving, but I felt a soft hand land on my shoulder.

I turn my head to see who it was, and my eyes were met with sparkling blue ones. Her eyes were intense and confidence radiates from them. I wanted to say something, anything, but the only thing that came out was a choked laugh. I couldn't tell what she was thinking, but I probably looked like an idiot. But, having her around was enough to convince me to stay. Her powerful aura was comforting.

"Welcome to Starbucks what would you like to drink today?"

I look up at the menu once more, to see if it could provide the same comfort as it did earlier, but it didn't. I moved my attention back to the barista. "I would like a vanilla frap with coffee in it."

"Tall Grande or Venti?" The barista questions me.

It was like her eyes were burning a hole through me. My hands were losing the grip the had on my shirt, they were getting so sweaty.

I softly answer "Venti."

"Okay, would you like anything else?" The barista questions again. My stomach was beginning to form knots with all the questions thrown my way.

"I would also like two pizza bread, please."

Okay, coming right up. What is your name, Ms?"

I look down at my feet and had to rack my brain for my own name. Once I figured that out, I turn my attention back to her. "M-Mocha." I stammered.
The barista writes my name down on a cup and smiles at me, but I turn away and walk to a table near the window.

As I sit down, I drum my fingers on the table. Couples were walking by the window, the majority of them holding hands. I sigh as I watch.

The sound of hollow footprints starts echoing in my ears. I quickly look to see the girl who was standing behind me and I throw her a small grin.

The blue-eyed girl stands in front of me and the table. She smiles at me and I turn my gaze back to the window, starting to rub my hands together.

I began to realize that she was not going to leave anytime soon. I don't know what to say, so I just stared at her.

"May I sit here?"

I nod and with my soft voice, I replied with,"I guess you can." I smile, but it was quite dull.

"Your name is Mocha, darling?" She asked as she sits down in the seat across from me.
My eyes start narrowing as I turned my head towards her. "How do you know my name?"

"Yes darling, I know your name. I heard it when you told the barista." She pauses, "Once you walked away, I couldn't keep my eyes off you."

The girl's long black hair was currently in a braided ponytail, that was moved towards the side. "What'd you get, darling? I got a double chocolate vanilla frap."
