I'm slowly losing hold
Of everything I've got
You're looking so damn hot
And I don't know what road we're on or where we've been
From starin' at you
Girl, all I know is I don't want this night to end
——I Don't Want This Night to End, Luke BryanAugust 4, 2018
Cait was literally bouncing in her seat, she was so excited. Grayson looked over at her with a smirk. "Do you get this excited to see me? Or is this just reserved for Luke Bryan and Sam Hunt?"
"I get excited a whole other way for you." She returned his smirk, causing Grayson to laugh.
They'd packed up and said goodbye to Chitana that morning, having decided to spend the night in Denver and then drive to Salt Lake City the next day. Cait wanted to have a car there anyhow and it was less than an eight hour drive. A long road trip but they had the whole day. And a new Porche to drive.
Now though, Grayson was pulling into their Denver hotel. "I haven't even gotten to the big surprises yet," he grinned. "If you're this excited about just going to the concert, wait until you find out that you get to go backstage."
Caitlin Callahan was not prone to frequent shrieking. She wasn't quiet by any means, but she didn't exactly get hysterical very often. Shrieking only usually happened when she and Rae were together. And not much stunned or impressed her. She rarely made the sound she made now, not even in bed. "You can not be serious!" she practically screamed.
"I can be serious," Grayson grinned.
"Allen, you are totally getting lucky tonight." She returned his grin.
"That's not exactly a news flash," he laughed. "But I'm glad we've established it." He reached for her hand before they got out of the car. "I even have one more surprise. But you're gonna have to wait."
"So you're going to torture me," she frowned. "You know I'm not patient."
"Saved the best for last, too," Grayson gave her his best smart ass grin. "But it's only 3:00. The concert doesn't even start for a couple of hours. Maybe I can get lucky now."
"You could tell me what the last surprise is first," Cait smirked. "That would improve your odds."
"I'm willing to take my chances," he laughed. "I'm betting I can talk you into a double feature tonight."
"You're pretty confident." Cait shook her head at him.
"Because I know you can't resist me," Grayson tapped the end of her nose and then opened the car door.
"Dammit," Cait sighed as she opened her door and got out. "He's always the smart one."

Grayson's jaw dropped at the sight of his fiancée about an hour and a half later. He hadn't had much trouble persuading her that they should get their money's worth out of the hotel room and test the bed out. But then Cait had disappeared into the bathroom to get dressed for the concert. And when the door finally opened, Grayson almost lost it.
She was wearing a ivory lace sleeveless top, with buttons down the back. It was rare that she wore lace, but this looked amazing on her. She'd paired it with a short denim skirt and a pair of brown boots. Her hair was in a braid.
