Chapter Three

Oh God what do they want.
"Hey Pay?" I cringed at the nickname. It's just because he said it. I looked to see Matthew and Cameron.
"P-please don't hurt me." I stutered. A look of guilt flashed over there eyes.
"Were not going to hurt you." Cameron said trying to put an arm on my sholder but I quickly jerked it away. He look sad as Matthew began to say something.
"Payton, I'm so sorry that we didn't stop any of the guys hurting you. Especially Nash, Carter, and Taylor. " Matthew started.
"Then why didn't you?" I answered rather harshly.
"We honestly don't know. I guess we just wanted to fit in. " Cameron said.
"Please Payton, can you forgive us?" Cameron said.
" I-I don't think so. I'm sorry." I answered quickly walking away to my 1st period of the day.
*Lunch*
I walk out my 3rd pd. of the day and to the bathroom hopefully being able to ditch the beating but was too late as I felt a hand grab onto my arm.
"Shit" I muttered under my breath.
"Trying to ditch your beating huh slut?" Taylor asked through his teeth.
"N-no" I stuttered.
"Are you going to lie to us bitch?" Nash said stepping in front of Taylor. I tried to speak but the words just won't come out of my mouth.
"Silent huh? You're lucky that we can't beat you as hard because were in school but don't get your hopes up because your getting it extra hard after school." Carter said. With that I got a slap in the face.
"Why can't you just go kill yourself?" Jack G yelled getting my face.
"Yeah, bitch nobody likes you anyways." I looked up to see Cameron. He asked for my forgivness and then he just stands there and let these insults come at me? Wow.
I looked up and realize that I'm now on the floor with a stinging cheek because Nash just punched me.
Matthew and Cameron then rush over to me and kneel down next to me on the floor to see if I'm okay. Then help me stand up right.
"Dude! Not cool.' Matthew says with his fists slightly clenched.
He's sticking up for me? Maybe I should think about forgiving them.
"Aww. Looks like little Matty is backing up his little girly friend' Carter said then let out a small laugh.
Damn, I thought they were best friends.
"You don't actually like her, do you man?" Jack G chuckled.
"N-no, it's just that you punched her, and now she has a giant bruise across her left cheek. Now we might all get in trouble because of you." Matthew said and Cameron nodded.
Well maybe I shouldn't forgive them now.
"Ah okay I get it now. Here watch this." Taylor paused.
"Okay whore, what are you gonna say when someone asks about that bruise?" Taylor says.
"T-that I fell down the stairs on my way back to c-class." Jeez Pay, could you stutter any more?
"Damn Taylor, how did you get her to agree to lying?" Jack J asked.
