Hey smarties,
How are you guys? So this random chapter here was a roleplay that Barktail8 and I did a while back and we decided to let you guys read it, so enjoy I guess. ( each paragraph is one turn )
" I'm so sorry that I couldn't save you. I'm so sorry Barktail....." Gingercloud said sadness filling her voice
"You should be." Barktail's spirit whispers
Barktail's eyes close, she could see a mirror image of her standing, Snow Field, " It's not her fault, " she said softly
"I blame her anyways because I want to."
" That is not right, " she says
"Too bad."
Dawn's Fire suddenly leaps at her, " What was that! " she growls
"You heard me!" Barktail growled, taking a pace forward. Snow Field stepped between the two she-cats.
" Both of you stop fighting! Now! " Snow Field yowled. " No, she made Gingercloud think that it was her fault that she died when actually it was Cedarstream's fault!!! " Dawn's Fire snarled
Barktail gasped and both she-cats glanced at her. "W-What do you mean?" she asked them. Snow Field and Dawn's Fire exchanged a worried glance.
" Um........ do I have to tell her? " Dawn's Fire said. " Well, I don't want to tell her, " Snow Field argued. Dawn's Fire glared at her. " Fine I'll do it, " Snow Field sighed
"Well," Snow Field began, "Cedarstream decided he didn't want to be mates with you anymore and that he wanted to be with Gingercloud. So, he put death berries in you sparrow to get you out of the picture."
" Wait............" Barktail let that sink in, " WHAT?! " she yelled, " Umm.... yeah.... that's what happened, " Snow Field said. " He could have just told me! Yes, I would have been heartbroken since I loved him forever, but I wouldn't be dead! " Barktail screeched in anger.
Barktail whipped around and sped through the undergrowth. She finally stopped when she thought she had run far enough. She looked around and realized she wasn't in StarClan anymore. The terrain hear was barren and rocky. Everything was stone. Barktail wasn't watching where she was going and she ran into something. She looked up to see a gray tom with blue eyes. "Oh! Sorry I didn't mean to." Barktail apologized, "I was wondering how to get back to StarClan. Can you show me?" The tom seemed reluctant at first but then nodded.
The tom led her silently through the rocky area. There were mountains that towered into the sky. After getting sick of the silence Barktail asked, "What's your name?"
The tom turned around, " My name is Jayfeather, " he says. " Where are you taking me? " Barktail askes. " That is for you to find out, " he chuckled. " What is that supposed to mean? " Barktail questioned.
"You're supposed to be taking me back to StarClan!" she growled.
"Well that's why you shouldn't trust random cats you just met." he retorted
" Well, you seemed like a good cat to trust and my judgment is always correct! " she said. " Says the cat who just got killed by her so-called mate who only killed her to get together with her best friend! " Jayfeather says sharply. Barktail flinched at his words.
He glanced back at her and rolled his eyes. "Snow Field, Dawn's Fire why did you have to tell her," he muttered under his breath. Soon, Barktail saw cats gathered around a pool of water talking. She heard Snow Field's frantic voice meowing, "... and then she ran into the undergrowth and we lost her!" Jayfeather walked up to the cats. "I believe I found something you lost." he meowed pointing at Barktail.
