lost magic

chapter 2

Sho set me down so I was sitting but leaning against the tree.

"so let me get this straight... Your a female magic user whose village swore to murder her because she has magic correct? " he asked.  I nodded my head.

"then your gonna want to be careful, " Sho said with a frown.

" why? " I asked

" female magic users are hard to come by and many male magic users are looking for female magic users for wife's before they turn 20 years old.(a/n I'm talking both males and females turning 20) " Sho explained.

" I was better off dying and living with my parents in heaven wasn't I? " I mumbled, " well if that's the case then can I come with you where ever your going until I'm 20.... That's only 4 years... And since Jessica really wants to protect you from other females then she can keep a close eye on me and if we ever enter a village that hates magic users I'll transform into a dog like Jessica but a different breed. "

" I guess but what does Jessica say? " Sho asked.

" I don't care as long as you stay away from him! " Jessica hissed

"she said that she doesn't care as long as I stay away from you." I said as Jessica proudly smiles at her statement.

*time skip* at night

It is now night time and we are setting up camp. So Sho didn't have to light a fire I used my magic and burned some sticks.

"why is it you have multiple types of magic but every other magic users have one? " Sho asked while starring into the fire I created.

" well my mother taught me when I was young that magic users don't have one specific magic until they turn 20 and only a few magic users have turned 20 but is able to use any magic they want. It is called "lost magic" because those magic users are said to of learned lost magic. " I answered.

"so then new born magic users have lost magic? " Sho asked.

"incorrect... New born users don't use lost magic for you are chosen to have it if Fate the magic god decides so over everyday hardships you may have. You don't learn it and your not born with it. It is ultimately impossible. " I said as my head nodded up and down as my eye lids got heavy.

I then closed my eyes while sitting up as Sho got up and helped me into my sleeping area and went to bed himself.

" it is gonna be a long day tomorrow for you and me, " I heard him whisper before I drifted into complete darkness.

(the next day)

I woke up to Sho shaking me awake at Jessica growled at the woods. I quickly woke up completely as I felt a presence in the woods that was unusually familiar but different. I then noticed the aura coming off the person.  A magic user. I felt the presence last night but decided to brush it off as I thought it was an animal but I guessed wrong because I was tired.  He must of heard our conversation last night and knows I'm a female magic user.
