**chapter one**

Tanya's POV:

As I saw my mom drive away I walked slowly to the Grier's front door I remembered all the good times I had in this house as a child. i knocked on the door hoping that Nash would open the door. just my luck it was Hayes. he said you can set your stuff up in my room while helping me with the things I bought there was only one bed. I said where will I sleep looking straight at the floor. well we can both sleep on the bed if that is okay with you he asked I replied with an yeah I don't really care look. well I'm going to take a shower as I was about to walk out I asked him why are you being so nice to me I thought you hated me? **back to the first day of 6th grade** we where at lunch I saw Hayes walking with his lunch I told him to come sit with me but he it was like he did not even hear me I know he did cause he turned his head to look at me but just kept walking with his new friends and after that we acted like we where never friends we never spoke till now **back to now**

Hayes POV -

she thinks I hate her? I told her to come sit as I saw a tear slip out of her eyes I felt so bad. I told her I don't hate you you're my best friend I'm sorry I let the cool kids get in our way it will never happen again she smiled and gave me a hug I gave her a little kiss in the check.
