A few hours passed and Lela finally calmed herself down after that startlingly encounter with Katrina. Lela got up from her seat amd went to the bathroom and started the bathtub faucet. Steam arose from the tub fogging up the mirror and window. Lela slid her robe off and gently settled herself into the steaming hot water. She relaxed into the water and closed her eyes. Lela took a deep breath but then was startled by a loud bang outside her bathroom window. She got up quickly and went to check it out. She saw nothing. Nothing but a stray little black kitten. Lela felt bad for the kitten, so she dressed herself then ventured outside.
The little kitten ran to her and she picked it up, holding him close to her chest. Lela said softly to her new friend,"you must be scared and lonely just like me huh?" She walked back into the house and got him a warm bowl of milk. "What shall I name you my darling creature?" Lela thought to herself for a slight moment then it dawned on her. "Mystic is what I'll name you," she picked him up while he purred with delight.
Both Mystic and Lela fell asleep on the old Victorian couch. Holding eachother closely they both slept through the night.

The next morning Mystic woke Lela up by pawing at her lightly freckeled nose. Lela stretched high to the ceiling and walked to the kitchen to make herself some coffee and get her new friend some breakfast. They both enjoyed the morning together. Then a ding startled them. It was a text mesaage from Eli saying, "meet me at the oak tree my love. I have a surprise for you." Lela was filled with excitement and joy. Would this be the night he finally kisses her? Or tells her he loves her?Lela dressed herself in a long white satin dress. Her brown curls laying on her back as usual. She slipped her shoes on and headed toward the door but before she could leave her visions started again. It was a shadow man standing above a girl laughing. Lela shook her head trying to brush it off. Then headed towards the oak tree.
