"And the Winner for this Regionals is...."

This is the moment TNS has been waiting for... Please be us...

I close my eyes and cross my fingers. Our two best dancers are out on the stage, holding each other tightly.

"Elite!"

[Present Time - Arianna's P.o.V]

I walk towards the door that goes into the studio. Before I reach for the handle, I hesitate, my hand hovering above as I think.

"The Winner is Elite!"

I shake the thought of their cheeky faces boasting on their win. Our- My, defeat was unforgivable. I turn my head away for a minute as my consciousness controls me.

Breathe. New year, new you.

I grabbed the handle and pulled the door open to see all my dancers already in the studio. I grin with determination, we will win Regionals this year, and I know that for sure.

"Good Morning Steppers," I manage to speak out, now that all eyes are on me. "I'm very sorry about last years regional but, we need to move on," I hear disappointed sighs as I speak. "Strategy is simple, we will work harder, focus more, and we will do our very best. By doing this I expect full commitment from all of you," All ears were listening, I emphasise every word to get more of their attention.

"I hope this motivates you to keep your spot on the team. Auditions start in an hour. Good Luck Steppers." I have a huge smile plastered on my face as I head towards my office.

Richelle's P.o.V

I sigh. I wonder how much The Next Step has changed since Noah and I left. "Noah, do you think this is a good idea sending our daughters to TNS?" I ask Noah.

"Of course it is! We grew up there and I'm sure those little showstoppers will love it there!" Said Noah trying to cheer me up. Maybe he's right.

But for some reason i have this feeling that is won't be the same like before.

Oh I hope Noah's right.

Tulip's P.o.V

I got my dance stuff ready first. Lilly is such a slowpoke! I decide to go to the lounge where Mum and Dad are sitting. 

"Noah how are you ALWAYS so chill! I mean our daughters are going to The Next Step!"

Mum complaining about TNS to dad AGAIN!

"I don't know maybe you shouldn't worry too much?"

Yeah Mum should NOT worry too much! Jeez!

"BUT AUDITIONS START IN TWO HOURS!"

In two hours? Thats kinda long but me and Lilly need to warm up!

I run to Lilly's room. "LILLY!!! AUDITIONS START IN TWO HOURS!!!"

"Oh then how come Mum hasn't got us yet?" Lilly replied.

"I know right! Let's go outside,".Me and Lilly walk outside to the lounge. "We're ready!" We both say. "Great! Now lets get going to the auditions." Dad says.

Lilly's P.o.V

I. Am. So. Nervous. Even driving to TNS makes me scared! "What do they do in the auditions?" I ask.

"Well, first they do choreo. A teacher will show you some choreo and you'll have to copy the moves. Don't worry you'll have an hour to practise. Next is freestyle. My personal favourite. Just pull of all your best tricks and moves." Mum said. "I think that's how they do it."

That helps a lot. But at least I know what I'll be doing.

"Dad what's taking us so long?" Tulip asks

"There's traffic due to a crash" Dad replied

"I hope we're not late" I say

1 hour later...

"We're here!" Dad said

"Finally! That car ride seemed like forever!" Tulip said.

Time to audition.

I just hope we're not late.
