Prologue/1st

Vallerie's POV:

Muntikan na sumabog ang bahay. I managed to escape the building kahit punong-puno ng apoy. Then it hit me.

Hindi ko siya kasama.

My ka-MU. Or boyfriend. I don't even know kung ano kami.

***Biglaang lipat ng scene***

"Umayos ka nga" sabi ko sakanya sounding irritated although my eyes say different things which say "Ituloy mo lang, mahal kita eh"

You hugged me from the back which isn't really surprising. You're clingy and possessive as fuck, you don't care kahit madaming makakita, but luckily I do care, which stops you from being too clingy in public.

Of course, I hugged you back.

Nasa room tayo ngayon, so I don't care. You hugged me like there was no tomorrow. You hugged me like as if...hindi mo na ulit ako makikita.

Then someone came in the room. Bigla kong inalis ang pagkakayakap ko sayo and lay on the bed pretending to use my phone. You chuckled and so did the person who came in.

I peeked to see kung sino pumasok. My older cousin. She lay on the bed beside me and you lay on the bed on my right side. Ako ang nasa gitna at masikip.

But of course, you're you. Kahit nandiyan ang pinsan ko, you hugged me from the side. I looked down from the phone and looked at you with eyes telling you to remove your arms wrapped around me but obeying isn't on your vocabulary.

You decided to just smile at me which irritated me a lot. I hate it when you smile, I lose all my control.

I smiled awkwardly sa pinsan ko. She just chuckled again and continued doing something with my phone. Some people know may thing tayo, my cousins. The old people a.k.a. my grandparents/parents, have no idea.

They may sense something, but they don't ask.

Suddenly may kumatok sa pintuan at mabilisan kong inalis ang pagkayakap mo sakin.

I removed your arms and you pouted but you knew you had no choice. Pumasok ang dalawa sa madami naming grandparents of our family.

"Ohh, bakit may lalaking katabi si Vallerie? Dapat nasa gitna ka, AJ" sabi ng isa sakanila.

"Don't worry po, wala naman silang ginagawa. Busy nga sa phone si Vie eh, kahit ako di pinapansin" pagsisinungaling ni Ate para sakin.

So she's Ate AJ.

"Sigurduhin niyo lang ahh. Ohh bye na. Matulog na kayo, maaga pa tayo bukas" sabi ng isa pa sakanila. They left the room and I sighed a sigh of relief.

"Thanks Ate" sabi ko. She gave me a wink. "Alis na ko, wag kayo gagawa ng masama ahh. May sarili din akong boyfriend 'no, di lang kayo ang couple sa mga de Vera. Anyway bye" sabi niya and stood up to leave the room.

"Yieee mag-isa na tayo Vie" sabi mo and aligned our heads kahit mas matangkad ka sakin. "Umayos ka, di kita boyfriend" sabi ko sabay irap.

And then you did something I'm surprised of but I'm not really supposed to be surprised about it. You pressed your lips against mine.

"Ohh boyfriend mo na ko ahh" sabi mo. I scoffed. "Tingin mo sakin, easy to get?"

"Nah, alam ko lang talaga na di mo ko matitiis, baby" sabi mo and smiled. Again. That smile.

That smile that makes me lose my control over everything all the time.

***Biglaang lipat ng scene ulit***

I looked everywhere. Wala siya. Di ko siya mahanap. Ang boyfriend ko. He's nowhere to be found.

"Tara na Vie, mamamatay ka kung di ka na agad tumakbo" sabi ni Ate.

"No! Di ko pa siya mahanap!"

"Sorry, Vie"

"NO!"

"NO!"

Ahh, tangina. Another one of my weird dreams.
