I look down and a stake is through my rib cage into my heart. I wake up. That was a dream. Wow, it seemed so real. I go downstairs open the fridge and get a blood pack out. My name is Takeshi, and I am an immortal vampire. "Hey takeshi, there is a letter for you." Someone from the living room yells. "Thanks Alexis, be there in a minute." I say as I enter the living room, Alexis has three friends with her. "This is Michaela, Raphael, and Leon. I met them at the club last nite." "The club that I forbid you to go unless I go with you." I say angered. By the way, Alexis is my little sister. her, Steven was with me." She says with a wink. "Yea like Steven is even better to protect you." I say. She hands me the letter and I open it. It reads.
Dear Takeshi, my dear boy. I am inviting you and your sister Alexisarty this Saturday at Midnight. I know she will love to come. She is and always my favorite niece. In the envelope there is a key that only you can use. DO NOT COME ALONE. Bring Steven with you. There will be a meeting after the party. Signed, #1 Uncle
Thats cause she's your only niece. I think to myself. "Sis, this Saturday we will be going to our uncle's party. Wear something formal this time. Last time you embarrassed me." I say walking away. I go to my room to call Steven to let him know. After I get off the phone that girl Michaela comes in. "I figured I find you in here. I hope that I would get you alone." She says as she sits on my bed seductively. "I don't have time for your games. I already told you to leave Alexis alone. I don't want her knowing about us." I say sitting in front of my computer. She stands behind me putting her hands on my shoulders. "Come on. She doesn't know that we are vampires. By the way, how is she your sister but is not a vampire?" She asks. "That doesn't concern you. Next time I won't be so lenient." I ignore her to play World of Warcraft with my friend Ethan. Saturday comes and we get ready for my uncle's party. I wear a white tuxedo while Alexis wears a green spring dress. When we arrive I pull around to the back of the mansion. I get out and my uncle greets us. "So nice of you both to come. I was hoping she would come to. I always enjoy her company. So innocent and sweet." He says as he kisses her hand like a gentleman. She walks inside as I stop in front of him. "I'm warning you now, Do Not let her know what we are. She does not need to know. You understand me uncle." I say with a fierce look in my eyes. "Hey, how long as she not known what happened to her parents. I have always stayed true to my word." He says. "I know, Michaela was over and she is hanging with Alexis. "I Think she needs to go." I say walking in with him. We enter the party and everyone stops to look at us. I believe they are looking at Alexis cause she is the only human here. We get to the bottom of the stairs and who of course greets us, Michaela. (Dammit. Why is she here? She gonna screw everything up) I yell to myself. "I'm so glad you both came." She says as she takes Alexis's hand and leads her to thee dance floor.. "Uncle, this is what I'm talking about. She is gonna mess everything up. I just need to end her tonight." "You can't. There is something going on that even you are not aware of. That is why I have called a meeting." He says as i hear Alexis scream. I run over to her and she is white as a ghost. "What happened Alexis?" I ask as I help her off the floor. "Tell me it isn't true Takeshi. Tell me it isn't." she says crying. I take her to the bedroom up on the right side of the stairs. "Okay Alexis, what did Michaela tell you? Or did she do something to you?" I ask. "She told me that you're a vampire and she showed me her fangs." She still is crying. "Damn it. I'm gonna kill that girl. It's true. I am an immortal vampire. There is also something you need to know Alexis." I sigh and sit down. "Alexis, our parents are not the same parents. I was the one who killed them. They were vampire hunters, great vampire hunters at that. One night i was by myself and they lead me into a trap. But, i was too smart and took their life. You're mom begged me not to kill you but to take care of you. We respected each other as monster vs monster hunter." She is sitting there speechless. After a few minutes of quiet, she gets up and smacks the shit out of me. "How could you lie to me all these years? I thought you cared about me but you never did. I want you out of my life." "That's fine and all but that can't happen. There is really special thing with you're blood. What it is, I don't know. I just know if it wasn't for me, you would have been killed years ago. Look, I'm sorry what happened to your parents but i gained a sister. That i would never pay to change." I say putting my arm around her. Knock. Knock. "Takeshi, time for the meeting." I hear Steven yell from the door. "Stay here Alexis, and lock the door." I say leaving the room.
