It was 7am and I heard my alarm clock go off meaning it was time for me to get up and start getting ready for work. I hopped out of my bed and walked into the bathroom, I undressed and stepped into the steamy shower. I did my usual shower routine and walked back to my bedroom, I continued to dry my body and get into my work uniform which consisted of a black skirt just above my knees and a white t-shirt along with some black heels. I am quite short so I don't mind how tall the heels are. I dried my hair then curled the ends of my long dark hair and applied light make up.

It was nearly 8:30 when I was ready so I walked to the kitchen where I was met with Jack. Jack is my boyfriend, we have been together for 3 years. We also work for the same company. I entered the kitchen where I was greeted with the sweet smell of the waffles that Jack was making for us. When he had finished making them we sat at the dinning table and ate.

Afterwards we got into the car and drove to work. The car ride wasn't long as we didn't live far. Although we work for the same company we didn't really see each other because we had separate roles. I mainly showed people around the building and got them to places they needed to be. But Jack worked with scheduling and booking appointments for other people from other businesses.

We walked in a I kissed Jack goodbye as he walked to his office and I went to mine. My office was small considering I didn't really play a major role in the business. I was looking through some papers when there was a knock at my office door. I told who it was to come in and I was met with Ayla.

She was probably the only person I actually like here apart from Jack. Most people who work here are really snobby and think the world revolves them.

"Have you heard what's happening later today?" Ayla said happily. "No why what's going on?" I said as I leaned on my desk. "Well apparently Grayson's coming back and staying for a while to focus on the business." "Okay and why does this matter to me?" I said while laughing. I've never actually met Grayson but I'd heard many things about him and they weren't good so I didn't really want to associate with him. Ayla started smirking at me. "What?" I said. "You're going to be the one who helps him out for today." Ayla had a huge smile across her face. "What, why me?" I groaned. "I don't know but Kathy told me to tell you. You have to meet him in the foyer downstairs like now " "But I don't wanna." I sighed. "You don't have a choice Es." "ughhhhh" I sighed again as she walked out. Great! I have to be Grayson's assistant for the day. I said to myself as I got up to leave my office to go and meet him in the foyer.

This is my first chapter to my new story. I know it's quite boring but it will get better✨😜
