dare [poem]

truth or dare?

they ask the crowd

listening in, mouths aloud

'dare!' they screech and green dress smiles

her gorgeous sapphires for miles

i sit inbetween a boy and girl

probably wrecking their saliva swirl

the bottle is spun

the game begun

it lands on me, green dress too

i hear a mighty 'boo'

'touch my girl and you are dead'

nodding, i decided to not be said

'truth or dare?' they leer

green dress says loud and clear

'dare, of course' with a sneaky grin

this is trouble, drink the gin

blurred crowd, dare at hand

wobbling i stand

the dare was to kiss

an opportunity none would miss

because afterall green dress is perfect
