After Shock

After the worst thing that could ever happen to me happened I booked it to the forest behind the school and sat under the cherry blossom tree. Having the worst luck ever it started to pour rain. I let all the tears that I have been holding in run down my cheeks. Sobs racked through my body and ripped through my throat. I was so out of it that I didn't notice the person behind me until they picked me up bridal style and carried me. I started to panic and began to thrash around in the person's arms because I thought I was being kidnapped. I eventually stopped because I noticed that they wouldn't put me down no matter what I did. I peered up to see who was holding me and it was... Alex? He smiled sadly at me and I broke down into sobs again. 

"Hey you just stopped crying. Why are you crying again?" He said

I looked at him with watery eyes that probablky held confusion, curiousity, and sadness. 

"Because I know that you don't like me back. You're only doing this because you pity me and I don't want your pity."

"What?" He asked confused

"I'm not doing this because I pity you. I'm doing this because I like you."

Good he doesn't pity me. Wait. WHAT?! Did...did he just say he liked me as in like like me?!

He must have sensed my confusion becaus ehe then gently set my feet on the ground.

"I have liked you ever since I met you. You are the most beautiful girl I know."

I stood there in awe but then the rain caught up to me because I started to shiver. He notice this and put his jacket around me, but as my dad used to say all good things must come to an end. Mine ended with being tackled by Tiffiney and being beatn to a pulp. Eventually she stopped and asked, no more like ordered Alex to come with her . Wait, he has been there the whole time and didn't try to stop her. Well, I wouldn't have known because I had my eyes sealed shut the whole time. 

"No, I'm tired of how you treat her. You treat her like trash. Only because what? She quit?!" He replied

He walked over to where I was and carried me and started to carry me to the clinic. All the while Tiffiney is screaming about how she will get her revenge. Meanwhile I was thinking about how I would hide this from my mom. I decided it would just be easier to come clean and tell her about it.

"Hey stay with me ok? You'll be alright."

That was the last thing I heard before the darkness took over and I passed out.
