****TRIGGER WARNING: ATTEMPTED SUICIDE****
you and zach have been dating for three years and yall have been through everything together.although you loved zachs voice you wouldnt call yourself a "groupie". you knew you would get hate for dating zach and it didnt really phase you when people would call you names but zach was a different case. he was very sensitive when it came to hate comments towards himself, you and anyone else he cared for. you tell him not to read the comments but he reads them anyway.
recently he did something really stupid which made most of his so called "fans" turn his back on him and you knew this would affect him a lot. all of the boys texted you to keep zach away from all of the comments but he saw them before you could stop him.
he locked himself in the guest bedroom and you could hear him softly crying.
"zach... please open the door babe... just unlock the door and we can find a way to fix this. i know you made a huge misake and you need to apologize but right now i need you to unlock this door please." you plead on the other side of the door.
"t-they said i should just kill myself y/n. they want me out of the band." he cries.
"zach i need you to breathe hun... just breathe and unlock this door.'' you say on the verge of tears.
"everyone would be better off without me y/n, youll find someone else and will live a happy life... the band doesnt need me, i was never that good anyway. everyone would just be better off if i did what they are telling me to do" he says still crying.
"zach open this damn door right now." you say seriously. you text all of the boys to get over here as soon as possible. they respond quickly and say that they would be here in five minutes but you dont know how long you could keep zach calm.
"I'm so sorry y/n." He says but his voice sounds like he's farther in the room.you open your mouth to say something when you are interuppted by the front door opening and the boys voices following.
You yell for them to come up to where you are at. You get up and Daniel pulls you into his arms while the rest of the boys try to unlock the door. A few minutes later you hear a crash and you look up and see the door broken down and a unconsious Zach in the other side. You run over to him and grab his hands. you take a second to get a good look at him, his eyes were red and puffy, his sweatshirt was soaked in blood. you pull up his sleeves and see where all the blood is coming from.
"boys pick him up and carry him to my car now." you say standing up wiping your tears. you are heartbroken but you know you have to be strong for the moment.
the boys obey your orders and carry him to your car. you get in with front with jonah, corbyn and zach in the back. you pull out of the drive way with jack and daniel following close behind you. you drive quickly to the nearest hospital and before you can even stop the car jonah and corbyn get out and carry zach into the ER. you park and run into the hospital where they have zach in a wheelchair and are wheeling him into a different room. you try to run in after him but you know you cant be in there so you just watch through the window as they wheel the love of your life into surgery.
you stand there for a second proccesing what just happened. you take a deep breath and fall to your knees and just cry. you know you are probably causing a scene but you couldnt care less. you feel someone pick you up and take you to the seating area.
"excuse me." you look up and see a doctor. she clears her throat and is about to speak but you cut her off.
"is zach going to be okay?!" you say raisng your voice a bit.
"Mr. Herron is going to be just fine, i just have to ask you a few questions and then you can visit him." she says in a calm tone. you nod your head and she takes you to a seat away from the rest of the boys.
"has Mr. Herr-" you cut her off. "zach. his name is zach." she gives a soft smile and continues to speak.
she aks you some questions about zach and his previous behavior. and you answer as best as you can. she tells you that he will have to be held overnight but will be realeased tomorrow, and then she finally tells you that you can see him.
you walk over to the boys and tell them to follow you to Zach's room. they all decide to let you go in alone so you can talk to him.
you take a deep breath and wak into the room. you spot zach and tears well up in your eyes as you wak over to his bed. you take his hand and his eyes flutter open.
"y/n im so sorry." he starts "im so so sorry, i love you so much and i made a huge mistake, i dont even know what i was thinking." his voice cracks at the end.
"zach baby, im just happy that you are okay. i love you too even though you are an idiot. im glad that your my idiot and that your okay. i was so scared that i was going to lose you, i need you zach, i know that im not super emotional but i really try, im sorry i dont show you that i love you enough" you say and tears now fall dowwn your cheeks. he squeezes your hand and pulls your arm so you could get closer to him. he wipes your tears and kisses your lips.
"baby... this isnt your fault, im not going anywhere. i love you and you're stuck with me." he says and then pecks your lips again.
you get up and let the boys in so they could talk to zach. one by one they all file in and surround the bed. you take a few steps back and take in your surroundings.
you knwo things wont be the same but for now everything is okay and the rest is history...
