min yoongi held her closely, her face buried into his chest as she quietly cried into his black t-shirt.

"did it happen again?" he asked sweetly, planting a kiss on his lover's head. she nodded slowly and let her body relax onto his.

he had her in his arms, in his warm, safe embrace. it hurt him to see his girlfriend, y/n, like this-but moments like these were moments he loved. he felt proud of himself to know that he made her feel comfortable and made her feel safe.

the amount of love he has for this girl is inexplicable. it's an amount that not even numbers could represent, an amount that not even words can explain.

he wiped the tears away from her soft cheeks as she slowly began to calm down.

"hey, can i tell you something?" he whispers softly into her ear.

"w-what is it?" she said, sadness and curiosity laced in her voice.

"i'll protect you from all bad things, okay? i love you, darling." he said, meaning every word that exited his mouth.

she hugged her boyfriend tightly as if he were to be saving her from drowning into a big, dangerous ocean, which, metaphorically, he was. he made her have a positive outlook on everything even when it was rough.

even with little things, he wanted to make her feel secure. like today, although it was only a nightmare, just a painful dream, which she told him all about, not missing one detail, he listened. he still tried to comfort her. he knows how sensitive she is and how easily she gets hurt or afraid. she's very fragile.

"hey and guess what?" he said.

he heard faint snores coming from her and smiled. brushing some of her hair back, taking in her unbelievable beauty. "i love you more than anything." he whispered softly.

she scooted closer to him and rested her head on his chest and she continued to sleep peacefully.

"i'm her comfort." he whispered to himself proudly before also falling into a deep sleep, next to the love of his life.
