I smiled at the quarter-full. As my gaze wandered, my eyes finally rested on the 'odd-ball' of the school, Reina Parkins. In my opinion however, ever since my ability to now see ghosts, I guessed she had what I had. Gaining courage, I got up from my seat and walked over.
That's when I saw her.
The adorable little girl that sat next to Reina that most people known as Michica Parkins. She talked with Reina and Reina replied, not making eye contact with her. I blinked and walked up to them. Michi saw me and got up. Reina looked at me through the corner of her eye. I looked at Michica.
"Why are you moving? I won't tell the school you're here," I whispered, sitting beside where she sat. Reina had full attention, and so did Michica. Reina spoke in her deep voice. "You... can see her?"
"Well that's a stupid question, of course I can," I said an eyebrow raised. I patted my lap and Winter hopped up joyfully. Reina and Michica looked at each other, then back at me. "What? Hey, I know you can see these ghosty things too. Then again, I just found out a few weeks ago."
"Michi, go show her why we're surprised she can see you," Reina said. Michi nodded and walked by a person. She waved her hand in the guy's face. He didn't even flinch. My eyes widened. "She's... a ghost?"
"A Demon," Reina said, correcting me. She pointed at my lap where Winter rested. "She is an Angel. A poltergeist breed by the cold aura."
I looked at Winter, who barked happily for being recognized. "How... how do you know all this?"
"It's something you have to learn as soon as you can see them," Reina said, petting Winter a bit. Winter licked her a little, then sat still on my lap. Michi walked over and sat back in her seat and Winter joyfully sat in her lap. I blinked. "Aren't Angels and Demons enemies?"
"A common mistake made by humans. Heaven and Hell are actually very much friends with one another. I have a couple Angelic friends here and there. Living for 107 years has it's perks," Michi said happily. I looked at her, stunned. "If you're 107 years old, how do you look so young? You should at least look like an adult woman..."
"It's because of when I died. I was a year old when I died. The reason I'm not a baby is because Demons still grow some, same as Angels," Michi replied. I nodded, amazed by the things I was learning. So much easier than school. Reina looked at me, causing my face to pink. "What? Is there something on my face?"
"No. It's just that... you're making me nervous," she said, looking away from me. I raised a brow. "How come?"
"You're gonna make me seem soft," she growled. As usual, she barked at me like the hound she was. We never got along. Michi looked at me and mouthed, TTYL. Meet you after school. Was there something she needed to tell me? I nodded and Reina glared at me.
"What are you still doing here? Scram," she said harshly. I stood up and hissed. "Well, so-rry for trying to be friendly!" I stomped off. I don't know about Michi, but I sure as Hell didn't like Reina. Not since when I first met her.

As the day finally ended, as I said goodbye to my friends and that I would see them tomorrow, I searched for Michi. She was near Reina, and when she saw me, she ran off. Reina, not wanting to drag attention to herself ignored her.
"Hey, follow me. I'll take you to a place without people," Michi said, leading me. We made our way to a densely vegetated area. I looked at Michi. She smiled like a kid with a secret. I looked at her. "Okay... What did you want to talk to me about?"
"Why Reina suddenly barked at you like a Hellhound," Michi said. She smiled and sat on the air. She really was a Demon. She giggled. "I know she seemed just prickly, but that's cause she was worried about you. She didn't want to ruin your image, you being a popular girl and all."
"But... why would she care about that?" I asked. Michi shrugged. "Because she didn't want what happened to her happen to you."
"What... happened to her?"
