Chapter one: The Disease

They always said that if humans used the full power of their brains we would do amazing things it’s just none of us ever thought it would happen.

Scientist in the year 2016 had been studying parasites found on the brains of cows that cause them to eat each other. The infected cows were vicious and could not be controlled, they ripped each other apart. Scientist realised that these parasites could in fact cause a zombie apocalypse and instead of destroying the disease and the animals infected they decided to investigate it in case of such an event. One day they thought they had a breakthrough and found a cure they just needed to infect someone and use the cure to verify if it worked. Their subject was a poor young man with no education and no future he was named patient 1, they told him they could make him rich, being  incredibly poor and naive , he accepted not knowing what they were actually going to do to him.

They took him to the secret facility where they were testing with the disease; they put  him in a white cell with concrete walls all around him and cameras to record all phasesof the change for future generations. First they injected him with the disease and waited to record how long before the changes took place. They broadcast it on national television to show that they have a cure for the disease.

Millions of people watched it every day, it took the  man days to change and he looked as though he had lost his mind he  had higher levels of aggression. They sent someone in, he wore alot protection and padding  so there was no way he could be infected. The subject was injected with the cure and you could see slow recovery, day after day of watching the man and eventually after two weeks he started talking, screaming actually the poor man didn’t know where he was they explained and the man was paid heavily. The scientists thought they were the smartest people in the world, they thought they had made a scientific breakthrough. Actually they were the stupidest, they ran tests to see for the disease, it wasn’t there it wasn’t on the man’s brain or in his blood, the man was cured. A month later the man was living it up throwing a party where only celebrities attended and he changed attacking many people. Scientist don’t know why or how they turned and the disease spread like a wild fire it seems peoples turn time is different some people take up to month to turn.

Now to tell you my story, my name is Ryan Holland...
