Eelektross. The very name strikes fear into the hearts of Trainers who are unworthy to fight such a creature. As one of the many Pokémon who were introduced during the dawn of the Unova region, the only type it has is Electric. But do not be fooled by just its typing! It's ability, Levitate, allows itself to fly over Ground type moves. So how to kill this mighty beast? Allow me to explain:
1. This strategy is and can only be used in generation five (Unova) and higher due to a certain move needed to allow this strategy: Smack Down.
2. You would need a good Rock or Ground type Pokémon that knows Smack Down and a strong Ground type move. Crustle or Gigalith would be a great selection.
3. Have a strong Ground type move in your arsenal. Earthquake or Earth Power is recommended.
Now, how to play this out:
1. Encounter
2. Smack Down
3. Earthquake or Earth Power
4. Defeat!
