Reading The Lightning Thief

Arriving

I will not be changing anything in the books we will be reading, but some characters that are canonically dead will be alive. 

It was the winter solstice and the gods were sitting in there thrones 'discussing matters of importance'. 

All of a sudden there was a blinding flash of light and 12 teenagers were dumped on the ground. 

There was a babble of confusion, and a 17-ish year old boy with black hair and sea green eyes stood up and angrily asked 

"Why in the world did you bring us here? Can't you do anything on your own?" He exclaimed.

The other teenagers nervous about the boy's actions and surveyed the gods warily. The gods looked at the boy  incredulously and wondered who would dare speak to them that way.

"Who are you?" Poseidon inquired curiously, because something about the boy was unnervingly familiar.   

The kids all seemed confused. 

"What do you mean, Who am I?" The green haired teen asked, seeming a bit offended.

At that moment, a note appeared in Zeus' hands, along with a book.

The Note said:

The Teenagers that have just appeared are 10 demigods ,a mortal oracle and a satyr from many years in the future. They are hear to read a few books with you. Time will be stopped while you all do. You are not allowed to purposely kill or hurt anyone in this room. The next book will be given to you after this one is finished. 

                                               ----A Special Friend

Zues read the note out loud and everyone quieted as they processed the news. 

"I wonder who this 'special friend' is..." Athena thought out loud. 

"Doesn't matter", Apollo claimed in disinterest, "Lets just read".

A blond girl with steely gray eyes stepped forward. 

"We should all probably introduce ourselves first. I'm Annabeth Chase, daughter of Athena."

A girl with frizzy red hair said "I'm Rachel Dare, oracle of Delphi"

This came as a shock to both Hades, Apollo, and Hermes, who had at least a faint idea of what happened with May Castellan. 

"Leo Valdez, son of Hephaestus."

"Piper Mclean, Daughter of Aphrodite."

"Percy Jackson, son of Poseidon."

Their were sparks of outrage at his statement that were quieted when the gods were told that all of the big three had kids.   

"Nico di Angelo, son of Hades."

"Thalia Grace, daughter of Zeus"

"Wait I thought I turned you into a-" Zeus muttered. 

"Its a long story" Thalia interrupted. 

"Jason Grace, son if Jupiter." 

The gods wondered what the Greeks and Romans were doing together.

"Grover Underwood, Satyr"

"Reyna, Daughter of Bellona" 

"Frank Zhang, Son of Mars."

"Hazel Levesque, Daughter of Pluto."

Athena grabbed the book and said, 

"Let's start reading!"
