Rain Puddles | A YoonJin Fanfic

Part 19

 Jin and Yoongi were strolling from the grocery store. They were hand in hand, both their unoccupied hands were holding bags full of food and goodies. Today, they were planning on having a movie date. 

 After Yoongi finally built up the courage to ask. Jin had smiled so large and said yes. When they had realized they had no food in the house, nor snacks. They decided to go grocery shopping together. To say they got looks was an understatement. They were stared at throughout the whole store. At one point, even getting pointed at by a little brat. In which Yoongi scared him away. 

 "I'm so excited." Jin was visibly happy. With the grin on his face, and the slightly pink tint to his ears. He couldn't wait, he wanted to snuggle up with Yoongi...but he would never tell him that. As they continued walking to the house, Jin's phone went off. Knowing that chime, he knew who it was. He didn't even have to look at his phone to know it was his father.

 They walked inside and Jin began pulling off his shoes.

 "I'm gonna go take a shower..." Yoongi told Jin before walking off towards the bathroom. Jin picked up the 2 bags and placed them on the kitchen counter. His phone went off again. He pulled his out of his pocket and placed it on the kitchen counter as well. Another chime. He grabbed his phone, lowering the volume so the phone would only vibrate.

 Vibration after vibration. Jin felt as if he was going crazy. He picked up his phone, unlocking it to see 20 messages, all consisting of his father telling him to come home. That they needed to talk. Some contained rude words and homophobic slurs. Jin was going to ignore it until his father began to mention Yoongi. 

 Jin going crazy from these chimes, and vibration decided he would end this all. Once and for all. With a simple, 'Be there soon' text. Jin was already writing a note, sliding off his shoes and heading for the door.

 If Jin wanted to live a peaceful life, he would have to let go of the toxic people. His father was a huge start that Jin was willing to accept.
