Jellybean POV
I woke up the next morning, I rubbed my eyes. Then I realized, I was no longer sick. Though yes, I was a little bit weak, I didn't need to miss school today. I got dressed in my usual black leggings and a hoodie. I yawned and tiredly packed my backpack. I walked out of my room and into the kitchen. Dad was already up. "Hey! Look who's up." I smiled. "Are you going to go to school today?" He asked.

"Yeah, I just hope I didn't miss anything." I responded, slightly anxious. "Don't be silly, you only missed a day and a half." Dad reassured. I grabbed an apple and took a bite. I was starving. I yawned and sat down. Jughead came into the room. "Jellybean! You coming to school?" He asked, he seemed relieved to see me. "Yep." I said, answering the same question again.

"How are you feeling though?" Dad asked seriously. "Oh fine. I feel a little bit weak, but not sick at all." I said. "Good, you weren't doing so well last night." He added. I nodded. I threw my apple core into the compost. Jughead was grabbing a Pop Tart. "The healthy choice." I said, pointing at him. He took a bite and jokingly rolled his eyes. "Oh come on now, you would've had one if you weren't sick yesterday." He teased.

"I guess we'll never now." I retorted. "Come on, we've gotta get going." Jug motioned for me to come with him. "Bye Dad." I said, grabbing my bag. "Bye you two and I'll be at work when you guys get home." We nodded and headed out the door. I was glad that Dad had a steady job at Andrew's Construction. It was so different from when we were pretty much flat broke when we were young. I was so glad that everything had changed.

Jughead POV
Jellybean was walking slower than usual, I assumed it was because she still wasn't feeling the best. I slowed my pace down to match hers. "Jellybean?" I asked her out of the blue. "Yeah Juggy?" She replied. "It's just, I'm really glad you're better is all. I was pretty worried about you for a while there." I explained. She smiled and side hugged me. I side hugged her back.

We reached the middle school with only a few minutes to spare. "Love you Jelly, see you soon." I told her tucking her long bangs behind her ear. "Love you too Jug, bye." We smiled at each other and headed off in different directions. I was beyond relieved that she was better. One time when she was fairly young, she got sick for weeks, I thought that might happen again and I was glad that it didn't.

I quickened my pace to get to my school on time. I had a few moments to spare, so I ducked into The Blue & Gold office to see Betty. I knocked on the already opened door. "Hey Betts." I said smiling at her. She looked up from what she was doing. "Hi Juggy." She replied smiling. "I've gotta get to class, but I'd thought I'd say hello first." I said, stepping out of the office. "I'll come with you." She said, getting up. I took her hand and together, we walked to class.

Jellybean POV
"Jellybean!" I heard Seth call as I entered homeroom. I hurried over to my seat. "Hey Seth!" I replied, smiling brightly. "Are you okay? Rosie told me you were sick." He asked. "I'm okay now, thank goodness. How was the track meet?" I asked, hoping it went well. "Oh it went great!" He answered, beaming. "I won all of my events!" He said eagerly. "That's awesome Seth!" I told him.

We only stopped talking when Miss Stan started the class. Luckily, it went by quickly. I walked out of the classroom with Seth. "We're starting the Drama unit today." He said excitedly. I had forgotten about it, it was after Lunch. "I don't love attention, but I really do love acting!" I told Seth. I had always enjoyed acting, I just never got a chance to do it. "I quite like it too!" He replied.

We met up with Rosie and Rosie being Rosie, hugged me. "Are you okay?" She asked urgently. "Jeez, Rose, I'm fine." I laughed at her concertedness. The three of us walked to Science together. Our Science teacher, Mr. Clarke, was writing something on the board, as we took our seats. Animal Adaptations it read. And so, for the next hour, we learned about how animals have adapted.

Jughead POV
At the moment, I was with Betty, Archie and Veronica in the Student Lounge. "Guys, guess what?!" Kevin said excitedly coming in. He sat down. "What is it, Kev?" Betty asked cooly. He looked around and seeing that there was no one else in the room announced. "Everybody in this room is in a relationship." Kevin was smilingly. I had never been very close with him, but I did think he deserved better. I was happy he had found someone again.

"Who is it?" Veronica asked curiously. "Well," He began. "the thing is, I may have already had a thing with him, but this time, it's serious. He explained. "Moose?" I asked. "It's Moose! Oh, that's what you said." He blushed and we all laughed. "Well, I think we all need to go on a triple date tonight!" Veronica exclaimed. "Sorry, I can't." Betty and I said at the same time. We looked at each other. "I have to watch my sister." I explained. "Yeah I'm busy." She said. "Alright well, Bughead is out." Kevin said. I laughed, but I loved being shipped with Betty.

Jellybean POV
Drama could not have come soon enough. I was very excited about it. The three our us walked in the classroom together. They were no desks, just chairs in three perfect rows of ten. We were all looking forward to the class, so we took seats towards the middle of the first row. A man in his thirties with brown hair was standing at the front of the room waiting for all of the students to file in. When we were all seated, he began to talk.

"Welcome to Drama." He said. He had a voice that was comforting and familiar, even though I'd never met him. "My name is Mr. Cassidy. Today what I want to do is get to know all of you beautiful people and in our next lesson we'll go over what I hope we accomplish this year." He smiled. "So, I'm going to pick random people and first you say your name and then hmm, uh, I know! Your favourite movie and why you like it." I turned to Seth and laughed, as we both loved The Breakfast Club.

The first few kids went and were pretty lame. Then he picked Jackson, who was sitting in the very back row. "First, I have a question." He said curtly. "Alright, hit me, but not physically please. I don't do violence." Mr. Cassidy answered. The whole class laughed. "Why are we starting a new subject in like, the middle of the year?" Jackson asked rudely.

Mr. Cassidy smiled in a 'Try me, but you'll loose.' kind of way. "Well, I came over from the High School to fill this position and you're math is quite wrong my good sir, it's November, not the middle of the year." He answered still smiling. "Okay, whoa." Jackson said. "Well, my name is Jackson and-" Mr. Cassidy cut him off. "So you're Jackson?" He asked ominously, he nodded slightly. "See guys? He already knows my name." Jackson said obnoxiously. "It's not a good thing for a teacher to know you're name before they've even met you, Jackson." He replied and I already knew he was my favourite teacher.
