"Commander! There's people passed out on the beach in locale four!" Shouted the Field Team Leader, bursting into the Commander's office.

"What? When did you find this out?"

"Just now sir, I was inspecting our gate and I saw figures down on the beach."

"Get them out of there now!" The Commander ordered. "Before an Anjanath finds them!"

With that order, the Field team leader bolted out of the room. Running over the drawbridge, he rushed down to locale four.

"No signs of any monsters on the way down here..." As he got closer, he saw two girls passed out on the beach. Kestodon were all around them, but none of them were bothered by the two.

"What... happened here?" The air was ice-cold, along with the water pooling on the beach. The scene was so... ominous. Walking down to both of them, he reached his hand out to feel their heartbeats. "Still alive, just out cold."

Picking both of them up, he saw the source of the cold. A grand spear of ice, pulsing from within with energy. "There's magic at work here..." He said, as he rushed back to Astera, carrying both the women with him to safety.

Out of breath from the run back, the Field Team Leader came back into the Commander's quarters laying the two down along the couches within the chamber.

"They're both out cold, eh?" Said the Commander, walking over to the one with brown hair.

"Yes, but Commander, there's something strange about these two."

"And what would that be?"

"When I found them on the beach, they were surrounded by Kestodon. Except, none of the Kestodon were even bothered by them... Plus there was something I've never seen around here before."

"Hmm?"

"There was a giant... spear of ice, pulsing from the inside with energy..."

"This is all so strange... These two clearly aren't local to here." The Commander said, inspecting their outfits. "Custom fitted, hand made, self armored... clearly fit for long travel. The only thing that doesn't make sense is why somebody would need gaps along the back of their outfit..."

"What should we do, Commander?"

"Hmm... leave them here for some time. If they're to wake up sometime soon, I'd like to ask them a few questions."

"Are you sure? What if they're-"

"Shifters wouldn't be as careless as to fall asleep this close to Astera. Besides, when have you seen something like this before?" The Commander questioned, pointing out the teal, glowing Cancer Zodiac on her hand. It was a vibrant marking, slowly pulsing in a calming way.
