Chapter 7: Be Real

Me & Chris arrived outside of Brielle house and I got out to go in. Brielle took forever to come open the door "damn." when she finally came out she was wearing sunglasses and acting really weird. "Where's Brei?" I heard crying and I tried to push past her but she stopped me. "I got her." She closed the door in my face. What's up with her? I heard a couple noises so I tried to turn the door knob but it was locked. "shit."

Then, a couple minutes later she came out with a whiny Aubrei. "what's wrong, Brielle?" I knew something was wrong and though we're not together, I still thought she'd tell me. But, she snapped. "August, mind your business." With that she slammed the door in my face for a second time. When, I got in the car I noticed a text from her ; I wouldn't mind if you keep Aubrei for a couple of weeks.

-One Week Later-

I've gotten really close to my cousin, Andrea. She was chill as fuck but could fuck somebody up in a second. Though, I had to take care of Aubrei me & my niggas hit the studio a few times. But, we also hung out more with the girls. They was cool as fuck,too. My kind of people. I was feeling Kerri but She & I only hung out a couple times with the crew though. Today, I finally grabbed the courage to ask her out and to my surprise she said "yes!"

About an hour later, I headed over to her house to pick her up. I was raining so, we decided to simply hit Starbucks for some warm coffee. I held the door as she went in and I followed and ordered us both a frappuccino. She picked a table and we chilled, "So, what are you going to college for?" I started. She took a sip, "Plastic Surgery." I stuck my tongue out, "Hell nah, I couldn't do that." She laughed and I noticed Brielle walk in causing Kerri to turn around. "That's your ex isn't it?" She asked.

I looked at her and back at Brielle. She was wearing a long sleeve jacket and sunglasses again, "Yeah, that's her." She stared her up and down and I laughed, "No competition?" She giggled, "No, but seriously I know an abusive relationship when I see one." I sucked my teeth. I didn't believe that, "nah, not Brielle. I highly doubt that."

Then, Brielle walked out of Starbucks without even noticing us. I watched her get into her car and pull off. Maybe, Kerri was right?

"Bacon or sausage?" Morgan asked me as soon as she noticed I was awake. I smirked, "Sausage." She laughed, "Chris shut-up." I plopped down on her couch and turned on some tv when my phone vibrated, it was Andrea calling. We had gotten a little closer since we first met and I felt so comfortable around her. She was funny as fuck. We chilled a couple times but, nothing major. I didn't want to start no more drama than I already had going on. "Yo!" I answered my phone. "Hey loser. What you doing around 4?" "Why wassup?" She laughed, "You're going ice-skating with me. Alright?" I sucked my teeth, "Niggas don't skate!" She laughed, "Alright. I'll see you at 4." I laughed, "You think you run stuff huh? Alright, I'll see you, punk!" She laughed and hung up.

Today, at 1 I'm supposed to go talk to Trey and clear up the drama between us. I hated having my brother ignore me. It hurt, no homo. So, I guess it's Trey's crib then, ice-skating with Andrea. I ate the breakfast Morgan made before hopping in the shower and leaving for Trey's house. When I got there, we just played 2k and smoked weed. Just what I wanted and needed, Trey acted like nothing ever happened so I did, too.

Then, Andrea texted me ; I'm ready. "alright, man." I told Trey before hopping in my ride and picking up Andrea. When, she ran outside I got out and opened her door. I've never did that for any girl before but, Andrea. Girl, had me doing shit I'd never do for anyone. We headed to the ice skating rink and got our skates. I wasn't feeling this shit at all and it was cold as fuck. She cupped her hand over her mouth to laugh, "You want leave?" I laughed, "Yes." We got our stuff and went back to the car. It was still raining so, we decided to go back to my place to chill and watch some Netflix.

When, we got to my place we both got out and ran up to my condo. I unlocked the door and we went inside. She had no problem getting comfortable on my couch. Then, I went in to deep thought. I stepped back and just starred at her sitting on my couch, "C'mon." She said smiling. Then, I thought about August, "..and I wouldn't want her to be one of your hoes."

End of chapter 7. I know it's a little shorter but , Chris better watch himself with Andrea! Y'all think he can hold himself together and not smash her? Anyway, DONT forget to vote and comment.
