it was an early monday morning , lindsey was getting dressed for another long week of school. She hated school. She hated it more than most children do , mostly because she got bullied by the other children in her class.
"Lindsey , hurry up you're going to be late!" yelled her mother.
"I'm coming, hold on!" replied lindsey.
A few minutes later , lindsey came down the stairs , she ate her breakfast and made her lunch.
"Mum, i hate school , you know i do so why do you keep making me go?. lindsey asked.
"you got to go its the law , enough of this giving out and just go!". said her mum. "I HATE IT , AND I HATE YOU !" roared lindsey. and she ran out the door and down the street. "Lindsey!" shouted her mother."Get back here!".
A few minutes later lindsey was walking to school , in tears , she never meant to say such thing to her mum , she was just under pressure of always going to school and getting pushed around and insulted by kids in her year. They only bullied her because of her background and what her parents childhood was like.Her dad came from a bad background , he was a criminal, always getting arrested and sent to prison for crimes . Her mother came from a hateful family , they never fed her and always deprived her of what she wanted. Her mother ended up getting taken away by social services and was adopted by a better family. All the kids in her school knew about her parents and made fun of her cause of it. Especially 3 girls called Alexis Benson, Diana O'Brien and Cathy Miller.
She arrived at school and walked up to her locker. She opened it and took out her maths book and science book. Then the 3 girls pushed her into her locker and she dropped all of her things , they laughed at her and said " what you going to do ? run to your daddy? oh, wait you can't hes in jail! ,". then they walked of in their little group. Lindsey picked up all her things and ran to the bathrooms. She sat there for about 20 minutes crying her eyes out. She couldn't take this anymore . She felt so angry and sad . There was a painful feeling in her stomach as if someone was stabbing her . She just felt like giving up on life. She started thinking about the point of life. what is the meaning of life? what is the point of being here anymore? thoughts like that ran through her head for ages non-stop.
A few minutes later the school bell rang . She dried up her eyes and went to math class. she dreamed about a happier life through class of having friends and a laugh with them.
A few hours later school ended, she went home and apologized to her mum for what she said that morning . They made up and then Lindsey ran to her room and curled up on her bed crying . She felt so hurt and wanted to give the bullies payback. She felt so small and that they were all giants stomping on her life . Her mum walked in the room and sat down beside lindsey . Lindsey told her everything . Her mum grabbed Lindsey and cuddled her for ages . They were both crying. Her mum told her that tomorrow she would phone the school . Lindsey didnt want her mum to but her mum said she had to. Lindsey put on her pyjamas and did her homework. She felt better after telling her mum the story. She just hoped that the situation gets sorted and that everything will be okay in the end.
The next morning Lindsey was called by the principal to go to her office . She walked to the principals office and told the principal the whole story . Lindseys mum was called in and the principal explained what she is going to do .
"I am very sorry to hear what your daughter has been going through. I am going to call the girls into my office , and their parents too. And i will figure out a way to punish them." said the principal
"That is good , i may end up taking Lindsey out of here , because i dont think she likes it here anymore. " replied her mother
"okay i am sorry again and i do apologize , this is the first time i have heard things like this happening , i do hope lindsey has a nice time in her new school if she leaves anyway." announced the principal
" thank you, bye bye now" . said her mother
After that lindsey went to her class and was happy to hear that the bullies will get payed back for the torture they put her through for the last 3 years. The principal then announced the girls names .
" Alexis Benson , Diana O'Brien , Cathy Miller please come to the principals office this minute."
They were all in shock of what they were called for and went to the office shaking . Lindsey just sat there with a big grin stretching across her face. After school she actually danced home. She hugged her mum so tight when she went home and said "Thank you , Thank you, Thank you! i am so happy the 3 girls were called to the office today ! , i am the happiest 15 year old alive! " . her mum said " that's good , now settle down the phones ringing". Her mum answered the phone , it was the principal. Lindsey sat on the stairs and listened to the principal speaking on the phone.
"Hello, Mrs.Adams it is the principal of Newton High school , im just phoning to tell you the girls got punished they have to do extra homework till they have left the school , spend extra time after school , and cant go out at lunch or speak to eachother for the rest of the year. i find tht a good punishment and for the other kids that bullied her slightly, they get extra homework.
"Thank you , Lindseys delighted. She is leaving the school and she will be collecting all her things tomorrow." said her mum.
"okay , byebye now see you both tomorrow". said the principal.
The next morning lindsey got all her things from Newton high. She said goodbye to all the teachers. and left the school . She was happy to be moving town and school. She felt like a new person , like her whole life is just beginning. She really couldn't wait.
A few weeks later Lindsey and her mum moved . They moved to California and Lindsey started school in California high . She was happy in the school she made lots of new friends and got a boyfriend. They were a cute couple.
Lindseys mum divorced her husband they signed the papers and never spoke again. Her mothe got a new boyfriend and got married .They were the perfect family . Lindsey was so happy with her new family . It felt as if a dream had come true for lindsey ; a new dad, a better school, a better life, a boyfriend, and most importantly some friends. She got very close with one of her friends , they had so much in common because she was also bullied.
The 3 girls that bullied Lindsey in her other school learnt their lesson about picking on people they never bullied anyone since they got punished, they had a hard time with the extra work and school hours and not having a lunch break outside or being able to see eachother.
Lindsey loved her new life, all her dreams came true and she lived a happy life ever since.
