I was waiting for a day at Park Rally waiting for Bree and Diego... I thought that they would be dead; probably Rally killed them or these yellow-eye vampires... I couldn't wait any longer so I waited for night to come to run away from this city. I was going to explore Alaska first - Alaska sounded a really good place to start my journey and I was going to run from north to south - and then I would go to Mexico. I was sad that the possibilities for Bree to be alive were under 10%. The way she didn't like being the center of attention and her friendly character made me like her. I wanted to protect her and that was the main reason that I let her be under my "protection shield ". I used to like such kind of girls when I was a human and I remember that clearly even though most of my memories weren't' that clear enough. After a few days of running I reached Alaska. I had read that Denali was a beautiful place for mountaineers and I would like to relax a few days alone, without people annoying me all the time. I found a nice cave near the city and I liked it there so much that I was planning to stay there for a month. One day while I was returning to my cave after my hunting I caught the smell of other vampires. At the beginning I was happy to see someone from my kind, to learn the things that Rally said we didn't' t know about vampires, remembering his name made me snarl because I claimed him for Bree' s death. But then I noticed something really strange about this smell... It didn't smell like everything I had smell before but it was certainly a vampire, a female one actually... My curiosity lead me to a nice wooden house a few miles away of the city. I noticed two people standing outside the house... I approached them slowly and as they heard the sound of my footsteps, they turned their head to see me... Their eyes were like gold ... I snarled furiously at them remembering all the things Rally had said about them, the reason why Bree had followed him and the others, the reason she was dead... They stood still for a second and then the man moved to stand in front of the woman while she was whispering << Kate, Tanya, Garret! " Half a second later two women with their gold eyes surprised and a man with amber eyes walked past the door . The woman who walked first through the door remained still and she asked me who I was. While I was watching her I realized that she was the most beautiful thing I had ever saw in my life and I said without hesitation the story of my life, including Rally and all the things he had said for them... A moment passed and they seemed to calm down... The woman said << I'm Tanya. This is my sister Kate, her husband Garret, Eleazar and Carmen. I believe we must talk >> Then she said that 2 years ago another family like them called them to help them with the protection of a human girl but they didn't go. This family was attacked by some newborn vampires who were all killed and she believed that this was the vampires I used to live with. She also explained why the color of their eyes was gold and that I could stay with them. I thought about it and I decided to stay. Their way of living was not easy but I was already looking for a way to live without killing people and here was the change I had been waiting for!!! It was all I could ask, all I wanted...
