Chapter 9 •• But, This Was Only The Start

Well, we had one week before school and we still had to get our school supplies and register for school again. Every year. Thank God I only have to do this two more times before I go to college. Mitch and I had registration tomorrow. Today was Monday. Tuesday we would register and get our new schedules for the first semester of the year. Wednesday, we could go shopping for our school supplies and then the rest of the week we can take it easy and get ready for school again. I would head back over to my place on Sunday so I could get a good night's rest before the first day of school. Not going to lie, I was pretty damn nervous. And, why? Why was I nervous to go to 11th grade? Why? I didn't know but I had a strange feeling about this year. Would it be Mitch? Bethany? Drew? What would happen? I could feel something I just didn't know what the hell it was.

~Tuesday~

Registration started at ten and ended at 2. How was that enough time? But, I guess it was. Bethany and Drew came with Mitch and I to go get registered. Luckily we were in 11th grade and didn't need our parents there because let's be real, none of us really had parents for a while. Mitch and I left his house at 10 to go pick up Bethy and Drew. For some reason, Beth had stayed at Drew's house. There was something going on between the two of them. I guess I would ask Bethy about it later and tell her what happened with Vincent in Florida since she is the only one who still remembers everything that happened with him and me. By the time we got to Drew's house it was about 10:20 - 10:25. We had to wait for Beth to finish getting ready though. It was like she already moved in. By the time we left Drew's place it was already almost 11 which was fine. We had until 2 to get registered. I really missed Andrew and Bethany. I wanted to hang out with them after registration so I asked them what they were doing later on and they said that they had nothing planned. I told them that we should hang out and do something fun or something. They smiled and agreed so I asked if it would be cool if Mitch tagged along. For some reason, Drew got extremely mad and started saying how I always have to have Mitch around and that I couldn't do anything without him since we met and I slapped him. How could he say that with Mitch sitting in the same damn car?! And then I practically screamed in his face 'what on earth has Mitch ever done to you?!!' Mitch snapped and told me to calm done, that it was all fine. I was pissed though. It wasn't all fine. Instead of continuing on though, I told them that we could hang out just us three for an hour or two after we finish registration. I told them that I already and something planned to do with Mitch, Victoria and Austin which was such a lie but, thankfully, Mitch went along with it saying he would pick me up in time to go to a party. He seemed so serious about it though which made me wonder if there was actually a party he was planning to take me to. If there was, I hope it'll go better than the last one did. Drew laughed at him and said 'just don't accidentally fuck another girl' under his breath which made me so damn mad! I wanted to scream at him but I stayed calm for Mitch because I could tell that he didn't want any trouble. We finally got to the school and it was like 11:40 - 11:50. We hurried up with registration. Well, we hurried as best as we could but, it took longer than we expected and we were there until 1:30. I'm not even sure why it took so damn long but it did.

1st period - Ms. Trujillo (English)

2nd period - Mr. Ramirez (Math)

3rd period - Mr. Jacobs (Computers)

4th period - Mr. Carson (History)

5th period - Mr. Pope (Math HELP)

6th period - Mr. Lopez (Science)

7th period - Coach Williams (PE)
