The drive was quiet and most of the time you were looking out the window but you stopped crying long ago by now. You lightly touched a bruise on the left side of your face, looking out the window seeing the sun just slightly peeking up over the horizon as your thoughts ran through your head. "While I was being questioned they said something about a friend of mine being in DedSec, that's you isn't it" You asked sounding a little upset as you looked over at him, (! !) (/ \) Wrench sighed "I was afraid you would ask that" He said and you looked back down at your thighs as he continued "I never wanted you to find out like this (y/n), trust me I was going to tell you. I am a part of DedSec, I fucked up I should have warned you but I couldn't" you sat up from your former slouching position "Warned me about what" You say shocked but sounding more fearful then you intended. Wrench pulled over on the side of the road and sighed again "Dusan, he was put on early release a few days ago for good behavior, he was let out yesterday. Fucker called a hit on anyone with even the slightest relation to DedSec" He paused as he let his head fall on the steering wheel although you saw his visor go blank a second before "So many good people mowed down in one night. Some killed others taken god knows where, but I should have been more careful to make sure someone who had nothing to do with any of this didn't get pulled into it. This shit cake of a night can't get any worse" After that, you had no idea what to say so you just sat in silence only the sound of cars and traffic around the both of you as the truck sat on the side of the road. You lightly put your hand down on Wrench's shoulder trying to comfort him but not stab yourself on the spikes "None of this is because of you, assholes will be assholes you didn't do that and you should have stopped it somehow, you couldn't have known all of this bullshit was going to happen. There is one person to blame and it is not you I promise, I don't blame you, nobody blames you for this so don't blame yourself... Because when you start believing it's your fault you will never catch up to the real reason. Trust me" Your hand began to grip tighter and at that moment you didn't even think about the pain of the spikes jabbing into your hand. Wrench looked up at you and in just that moment even with the mask you could tell he smiled even if for just a second "Anyway, I should get you home you've been out since probably last night (^ ^)" Wrench sat up and quickly seemed as if nothing happened at all, that moment swept away in the sands of time as he pulled back onto the road "Oh heck you're right!" You exclaim looking out the window again at the rising sun nervously laughing a bit as you turn your gaze to the dashboard "I can never tell Karla what happened last night, she'd think I was lying for one, and two I don't think this is the kind of crap anyone needs to know about" "So what are you going to tell her, and um who exactly is she" (? ?) Wrench asks "Karla is my roommate, she moved in a few nights ago. I need to actually think up a lie though" You say trying to think up something that would have taken you all night "You could just say you spent the night at a friend's" Wrench replies "No, I texted her I was using Driver SF to get home that night because the bus was going to be late, wait but if I tell her that the friend I spent the night with was the person driving me, that would make sense" You say trying to think about this "You could tell her they wanted you to come over for a few beers and you ended up not having another ride home so you crashed there" Wrench added on 'the mood of our conversation changed so drastically, earlier Wrench was sort of breaking down but now he is just talking as if nothing happened maybe that mask he wears all the time isn't the only one. There's one he puts over his emotions as well. I won't say anything about it' You think to yourself then smile and say "good idea, but what about the bruises" You say without thinking and Wrench laughs "Beer jackass, ya got smashed and woke up with 'em" after his joking statement you laugh too realizing what you said was not the smartest thing.

Soon enough you ended up at your apartment complex, Wrench parked in a spare parking spot meant for visitors and you both walked to your apartment. You unlocked the door and opened it now seeing your angry roommate prepared to give you the lecture of a lifetime "WHAT THE FUCK WHERE YOU DOING ALL NIGHT I WAS HALF READY TO CALL THE POLICE, IS THAT A BRUISE ON YOUR FACE" Karla quickly turned her gaze over at Wrench "DID YOU DO THIS YOU FUCKING ASSHAT!" She screamed probably waking up the whole building at this point, Wrench kind of stepped back and you could tell why anyone would be taken off guard by a 6'8" women yelling at them at five in the morning "Karla calm down this is Wrench the friend I told you about, he was driving me last night and we stopped by his place for a couple beers neither of us where okay to drive back so I stayed the night and I woke up on the stairs with a few bruises, I'm fine" You say trying to calm the tall pink haired beast that was your roommate "I'm just glad your okay (y/n), text me next time though girl" Karla sighed "Well if we are done here I'm gonna just head home" (^ ^) Wrench says beginning to walk away "Why don't you come in for some coffee I got a fresh brew on and (y/n) and I aren't gonna just drink it all alone" Karla smirked and winked at you, after that you knew what she was trying to do now.
**I'm sorry the hiatus took so long I will try not to do that too often and I will tell you when I do, shit happens and I don't want to ruin a set out feel for a chapter by me not feeling the best emotionally and setting up a bad chapter. Also now I am using Grammarly so expect less spelling and grammar mistakes in chapters to come. Anyway look forward to more chapters and I hope you all enjoyed.**
