Weeks passed.
I looked myself in the mirror, fixing my hair. I need to look my best today. It feels weird wearing this yellow sweatshirt, but I promised myself that I have to try wearing clothes with bright colors.
Afterall, its Phil's birthday.
I dont want to look gloomy on his special day, especially now that Im trying to make a video again after a while.
Im really happy that our subscribers never abandon us despite everything that happened. I wish I could thank them one by one, since it really means a lot that they stood up for me when Im on my darkest day.
What kind of video would you make, Dan?, you might be wondering. Remember that I said I wanna feature Phil on the very first video that I will make? Its his birthday, so even the timing is perfect!
I sat on the usual space on Phil's bed and start recording.
"Hey guys!" I flashed a big smile. "Im sorry. I mean, hello internet!"
Why dont I include his intro on my videos? Huh. Will it be alright for you Phil?
"In celebration of Phil's birthday, I want to call our special guest! Clap it up for Mr. Sunshine!" I gently pat our dog' head before it settle quietly beside me.
I adopted Mr. Sunshine a few weeks ago. His presence make the mood of the house so much lighter.
Everything might be different from what it was before, but I have to keep going. And after everything that happened, I decided on one thing.
I will be the sunshine that will help others the way that Phil did to me.
I mean, Im not perfect, but I will try my best to keep everyone around me smiling. I guess I have to rebrand myself again, huh?
I glance at my phone's wallpaper where Phil is smiling brightly.
