"Good Morning Honey" a kiss on the cheek, forehead and finally the lips connected of the man and woman in bed.
"Maammaaa, Daaaddaaa ... waky waky..." was heard over the monitor. The man went to get up. "Don't worry I'll get our little snuggle bunny in here."
"Thanks Jules! You're the best!"
Julian Edelman went into his daughters room and a girl about one and half years old was awaiting him. "Daddy! Up up up!" The little girls stood in her crib with her arms raised up to be lifted out. Julian went to grab her and tickled her tummy. A happy laughter erupted.
"Let's go get a fresh diaper on you and then we go see mommy and snuggle in bed!" Julian said as he went to put his daughter down on the changing table. "No! Wait. Need bunny!" Julian looked back to crib. "Oh I see! Mr. Bunny fell out! He needs a big cuddle!" With that he handed the soft toy over to Lily who wrapped her arms tight around her favorite snuggle buddy.
After finishing the diaper change Jules lifted Lily back into his arms and went into the master bedroom.
"Mommy look! Bunny needs hug. He hurt!" The little girl said holding her toy out to her mom for a hug. "Mr. Bunny here fall out of her crib." Then Samantha took the toy, gave it a kiss and hug and gave it back to her daughter. "All better now." The little girl nodded her head and checked her bunny over before flopping down in between her parents and started to play. "Hop...Hop...Hop..." Jules and Sam watched their daughter for a few minutes. Their eyes connected from time to time and they both had smiles on their faces. A wonderful new day during off time before the hassle of a new season.
