3rd Person

This is the start to Myra's very unusual afternoon...

As her bright blue almond shaped eyes shone in the in the sunlight, her eyelids feeling heavy because of her thick mascara with her rich blue eyes standing out against her pale skin. And her long thick wavy black hair flowing in the light breeze.

Myra walked slowly to the bus at the end of the day, she hated the bus trips because she had no one to sit next to, all her friends either went on different buses or walked home. She stepped onto the bus with hesitation she knew this was going to be a long trip, she sighed and walked up the bus aisle like her shoes were made of mud. Myra past Archie who caught her eye but she quickly looked away he was sitting next to his best friend Jarrah and some of his other mates. She had known Archie well during primary school but he had definitely changed quite a bit since then. He was so popular now and since primary it was like he adopted a whole new personality. It saddened her. Myra quickly stop herself from thinking too much about him. She looked at the clock at the front of the bus twenty five minutes till home.

As she looked outside she recognised the usual blur of the familiar surroundings as the bus drove through the the edge of the forest. Myra grabbed her phone out of her school backpack hearing the vibration of a text message she saw it was from Waverly as she slide up to reply to the message she felt a sudden sharp pain in her forehead, it burnt for a moment then it became numb. Myra pressed the palm of her hand against her forehead and looked out of the window. Myra felt uneasy. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath inhaling the suddenly freezing cold air. She opened her eyes quickly looking around once again and then the bus came to an abrupt stop. Her whole body got thrown forward slightly and when she sat up to recover herself, she notice something strange. Every single person on the bus was somehow frozen and lifeless, like time has stopped for them. It was not possible. She turned to the person directly behind her and waved her hand quickly in front of his face.

Myra POV (Now)...

" come on"

I whisper to myself, my voice slightly trembling. I drop my hand and start chewing my lip this is impossible, this shit can't happen.

" Myra"

I turn my head around quickly. It's Archie great, everyone's well you know and I get stuck with him. He chucks his beanie on the seat he is leaning on and rakes his hand through his light blonde hair, his light blue eyes staring intensely into mine while he tucks his hands into his brown leather jacket. I slowly raise from my seat, my head still aching. Archie comes to my side.

" are you alright"

He questions looking me up and down.

" I'm fine"

I mutter briefly. As Archie and I walk down the bus aisle we study all our schoolmates faces. Archie suddenly grabs my arm.

" what are we going to do"

The worry on his face growing by every second, he looks down to his left hand which was still gripping my arm he slowly realises.

" Sorry"

He mutters. I look up into his eyes and reply honestly,

" I have no clue".

And with that I leave the bus to get some fresh air. Archie soon follows.
