*AUTHOR’S NOTE*

Hello! I have decided to write another story! Yay me, right?

Well anyway, this is four pages. I’m hoping it is. Oh whatever. Enjoy the story! (:

CLAIMER: Mine. This is all mine.

************************************************************************************************************

“Did you see the new guy?” My best friend, Sera, was babbling in my ear as I stared at the ground, nodding my head at the appropriate times. In all honesty, I was just waiting for her to realize that something was wrong with me and stop her rambling for once to focus on me. But she never does and I guess its better that way.

I mean, I was ready to tell my best friend of eight years all of my secrets, but she was too focused in on herself to realize that something was wrong with me.

“Are you even listening to me?” I looked up from the ground and into her eyes. She looked annoyed at me. “God, you do this all the time! You never listen to me! You’re too selfish to realize that I have issues too.” I bit my tongue and nodded my head.

“I’m sorry. I just…didn’t get enough sleep last night.” She scoffed and rolled her eyes, but smiled and held out her arms as her boyfriend, Callum, and his friends, Nash, Parker, and Jones, came to us.

“Hey baby.” She greeted him, pecking him on the lips, which turned into a make out session. This always happens between them. Nash, Parker and Jones just rolled their eyes at the couple and turned their attention to me.

“Hey babycakes.” Jones said, sweeping me into a hug. I closed my eyes and breathed in his relaxing scent. He let go of me but held my hand, smiling down at me. I waved to Nash and Parker and they smiled back. All four of us eased into a conversation while Callum and Sera were pushed up against her car, in a full on make-out session.

The bell rang for homeroom and we all separated ways, except for Jones and I. He walked me to my homeroom. I took my hand from his as we walked side by side and he sighed.

I looked at him, confused before he ran a hand through his hair. I knew what was coming and I didn’t want to hear it. I walked into my homeroom before he could say anything and took my seat. He lingered by the door, staring at me before sighing and walking away. I took my phone out of my bag, turning it on, and staring at the screen as messages from Jones from last night flooded my inbox.

Hey

Please, answer me

We need to talk

Stop ignoring me

Are you going to answer me?

I don’t appreciate this Lilah

Listen. I know you won’t answer my messages or my phone calls, but I just want you to know that I’m here for you. I’m not going to leave you now that you’ve told me about your past. I promise you, I will always be there for you. You can’t get rid of me that easily.

Lilah, open your window.

I know you see me.

Goddamit Lilah. Open your fucking window.

Is your phone even on?

Are you awake?

OPEN YOUR FUCKING WINDOW!!
