Chapter 1.

The day began like any other day, Nadeshiko woke up with her hair pushed over to one side and the cold sensation of the Winter morning. As she got up to go wake up her little sister, Kagura, she noticed that the T.V. was on and Kagura's favorite plushie was sitting on the coffee table. She wandered about the house looking for Kagura, but there was no sign of her. So she rushed to the neighbors house in a panic, still in her pajamas.

Mr Takamoto said that Kagura was fine and that she came over early this morning to walk to school with Hiei, and that she was inside brushing her teeth to get ready for school. Nadeshiko went back to the house to get ready to go to work. She ran up the stairs and got an outfit ready. She then hopped in the shower then put her clothes on. Just as she was heading down stairs she noticed an odd silvery fox looking at her through the window, it had silvery hair with blue swirvy patterns on its side and its eyes were a crimson red.

Nadeshiko stopped where she was and waited for this peculiar creature to go away before she could go outside and walk to work (there is no need for her to drive since work was only about 3 streets from her house, She worked at the bakery that was famous for there delicious multi-fruit cupcake, which was divine). Nadeshiko turned her head to check the clock on the wall it was 9:07 A.M.

When she turned her head back to keep staring at the fox creature it had vanished. When the fox had vanished, she was immediately drawn to the dusty table near the stairs. As if it was pure instinct, she went over and picked up the picture frame from the table, showing her deceased parents.

She ran and opened the door, poking her head out and looking all around for the creature that had just stared at her for five minutes without moving or blinking. It was no where to be seen, so she waved good bye to Mr. Takamoto who was sitting in his bamboo chair. He smiled and waved back saying,

"Have a great day! I'll be in around lunch time for your multi-fruit cupcake as usual!" Nadeshiko, laughing, replied,

"I'll keep one just for you see you later!!"

Nadeshiko smiled and continued walking down the street and on her way to work. That's when she noticed the same fox creature lurking about in the alley. But this time, it didn't look so peaceful because it had blood dripping from its fangs and there was a figure on the ground bleeding. Nadeshiko ran to the nearest phone and tried calling the police, but the line was dead. So, she put the phone back and ran back to the alley where the lifeless figure was, but when she got back-- there was nothing there and the fox creature had vanished too. She shook her head and thought to herself,

"Ok Nadeshiko, no more green tea before bed!"

When she turned around to continue walking to the bakery, a shadowy man appeared in front of her and demanded that Nadeshiko tell him exactly what she saw. Scared and trembling, she told the man what she had seen. The man then started running like a blur down the street with what looked like a gun in his hand. Nadeshiko thought the man would just go kill the creature, because it had killed someone. So she screamed,

"Don't kill it!"

But it was to late, the man had vanished, She turned on her heels and started running to the bakery.
