Love At First Sight

~Emilia's POV~
After we finished dinner our parents went to talk in the living room, Cole and Dylan were playing with Tilly and Leo. Max, Harvey and I went to their room.

It wasn't a typical boy room as I expected I expected mess everywhere but instead it was cleaned up. There were two beds one underneath the window and one on the opposite wall. The walls were painted a dark blue. There were two desks next to each other on the other wall and a bookshelf close to the door. They had basic blue curtains. 'Wow.' I say sarcastic. 'What?!' Harvey asks worried. 'It's just I expected it to be so much messier than it is.' I say giggling. 'Well it normally is but I guess our mom cleaned when she heard you and your family would eat here.' Max says like it's the most normal thing parents cleaning their children's room. 'You know my mom would never ever do that, right?' I say. 'Really?' Max says surprised. I nod my head. 'let's listen to some music.' Harvey says. 'What do you wanna hear Emilia?' Harvey asks which I think is really sweet of him to ask. 'Uhm Shawn Mendes the album. Just so you guys are prepared I'm gonna sing with the lyrics I'm a big fan of Shawn Mendes so... ' And blushing. 'Awh I think it's really sweet that your such a big fan.' Harvey says really sweet. 'Yeah I guess that's normal Shawn's songs are pretty good.' Max says to me. 'PRETTY GOOD.' I say a bit louder as usual. 'They are the best never insult Shawn Mendes in front of a member of the Mendesarmy.' I say totally fangirling. 'Woah easy. We are very sorry that we hurt your feelings.' Max says surprised and sarcastic at the same time. And just after that we all start laughing. When they put on the album the first song is perfectly wrong (song is up there) and I start to sing with the lyrics. When the song ends Max and Harvey just look at me eyes widened. 'What something wrong?' I ask. 'Uhm yeah! That was amazing why didn't you tell us you could sing.' Max says surprised. 'Because I can't sing that's why I never told you.' I say stating the obvious. 'Emilia you are kidding right that was beautiful. Just like you.' Harvey says and I blush really bad. I quickly look down to hide my blush but I still get an asking look from Max. 'Emilia can I ask you something on the hall way?' Max asks. 'Yeah sure.' I say stunned.

~Max's pov~

Wow is all I can think of while Emilia is singing she is really good I'm sure we are gonna be great friends. And just then I realize my mini crush was nothing. When I look over at Harvey's reaction I see him blushing and looking in awe at her or shall I say staring. 'Something wrong?' Emilia asks. 'Uhm yeah! That was amazing why didn't you tell us you could sing?' I say really surprised because that sounded amazing! 'Because I can't sing that's why I never told you.' She says like it's obvious. 'Emilia you are kidding right that was beautiful. Just like you.' Harvey says flirting, and making Emilia blush like she's a tomato. Wait what Harvey never says that kind of stuff and Emilia looking like a tomato what's happening between those two. This and all the stuff in the kitchen all the "on perpose" touching. I really need to ask him about that, I say making a note in my head. 'Emilia can I ask you something on the hall way?' I ask her.
'yeah sure.' She answers.

'So what is it that you want to ask me?' Emilia asks. 'Do you have a crush on my brother?' 'What no!' She says turning into a tomato again. 'No than why are you a tomato right now?' I say. 'What...' She says surprised. 'C'mon you can tell me I won't tell Harvs I promise you can trust me.' I say a bit pleading. 'OK fine I'm not sure yet but I think I am I mean he's so sweet and he's really really cute and handsome. But I just met him for real you know.' She says. She has it really bad I think. 'Yeah I get it Emilia you don't need to tell me that I'm his twin I look identical. So what does it matter that you only know him for a day apparently love at first sight exists and you guys really connected from the beginning on. Plus I know he looks good I look exactly the same' I say the last part sarcastic. 'Yeah but you're different I see you different in a friend kind of way.' She says like she's apologizing. 'It's not a problem I see you the same way.' I say and open my arms for a hug and she answers we are standing there for a while hugging and Harvey opens the door. Emilia blushing. 'Erm... I thought... It was taking really long so ehm.. I thought maybe something was wrong so I wanted to check.' He says a bit ashamed. 'Owh don't worry Harvs nothing is wrong Max just needed my advice on something.' Emilia says. 'Yes I did. And I just hugged her to thank her.' I say keeping my promise to Emilia and she looks grateful.
