Chapter 33

I landed on the stage. He tried to run but Bruce stopped him.
"Let me go!" He yelled
"Shut it Harper" Bruce growled
Percy landed right near Bruce and I was at Barbara's side.
Batman and robin. Batgirl and Paladin.
"Kid flash for the win!" Wally yelled
And Kid Flash.
"Owww don't yell when we have our earpieces in" I said I reached up and pulled mine out. "I think you broke it"
"All right Harper where is he?" Bruce asked
"Who?"
"You know who!"
"I've got him Bruce" Dick said he had someone standing next to him.
People cheered and shouted. Cameras flashed. I looked across the crowd and noticed someone. He looked at me the scar on his face was still noticeable from the distance. He nodded at me.
"I'll be back" I said
I shot my grapple and landed on top of a roof. He climbed up the escape.
"You are amazing." He said
I looked around and hesitated before pulling down my cowl.
"Why are you still here?"
"Please Annabeth" he said
"We already talked." I pulled out my dagger "get away before I-"
"Before you what?" He asked "family isn't killing-"
"You already ruined family" I said "now get out of Gotham. Get out of New York. Why not go visit Tartarus where you belong?"
"Luke?" Percy asked thankfully not in his suit. "Have you come back for round two?" He uncapped Riptide
"Unfortunately its time for me to go. Next time you see me I won't be so nice." He ran off towards the docks.
"Are you okay?" Percy asked
I fell into his open arms. This time not crying.
"I hope he dies and gets the worst punishment in all eternity." I said I pulled up my cowl. "C'mon let's not let this ruin our victory."
"O-okay" he said he punched his fist into his hand and his suit was on him.
"Let's go"

We had to sort everything with the police and the Mayor. James Harper was taken to National City for holding.
In the days after everything started to go back to normal. Barbara made me train for the time I was there. She said I'd gotten rusty. So I spent nearly seventy-two hours training and going on patrol. Now all we needed to do was figure out a way to send Wally back to Central City on Earth One.
Percy and I headed back to camp. Everything was normal. For demigods I guess. But knowing our lives that wouldn't be for long.
