[Prologue]

“Ashlyn,” he called out to her, in a broken whisper.

“No.” She gritted her teeth together in anger, betrayal and another thousand emotions that were flickering through her. “No,” she stated again, this time louder and in a strong voice. “Leave me,” she ordered but he did not move an inch.

“Ash—“

“No,” She whispered sombrely.

“But—“

“Go,” She insisted sternly.

“You’re not---“

“No,” she said in a defeated and exhausted whisper. “If you won’t leave, I will.”

“There’s no need; don’t be impulsive, Ally.” He pleaded with her but she did not respond, she simply continued to stare at her feet that were now crusted in mud. He was too nervous to make another sound so they both stood facing each other but neither looking at each other: one because of shame and the other because of overwhelming grief.

“I will,” she whispered softly, finally. His eyes focused onto her dirty face and he still thought she was still heartbreakingly beautiful.

He tried once more to sway her from her threat. “Think about your father, Ally! He wouldn’t have wanted you to leave your home.” He stepped forward to place a hand on her shoulder but she roughly shook it off. Her blazing cerulean eyes shot up and glared at him. Her stare was so intense and strong that he could not break eye contact with her. It was terrifying yet he could not look away and he let her glare pierce through him. He felt as if she could see everything about him and that she loathed every single bit of it. He felt like her eyes were burning him slowly to nothing and then she spoke.

“He’s dead. My mother is dead. My baby sister is dead,” she hissed. “Do you want to guess what my older brother is, huh?”

“No.” He quivered under her fierce scowl.

“Dead,” she spat out and her eyes turned an impossibly bright, shimmering azure. “I have no home, anymore.”

“What about me?” He asked pleadingly.

“Goodbye.” She took off on a sprint towards the woods then she leapt into the air as if she was doing the butterfly stroke and burst into a cinnamon coloured wolf, with varying shades of gold woven in.

So yeah, new story about werewolves. I’m trying not to make it cliché. Random idea I had whilst I’m sick. LOL. Okay, well. I just wanted to get the prologue up there and when I’m ready I’ll upload first chapter. Thanks, and please give this a chance.

Next chapter will probably be up in a few weeks or earlier.
