naomi is nate's step sister, they share the same dad but not the same mom! also naomi is not famous at the start, most know her as nate's little sister but nate protects her from fans who might not be so nice.
also she's close friends with the jacks, but in this story sammy hangs out more with kylie's crew than with nate so that's why they don't know each other.
