"Wh-what plane?" Randy said.
"Hah!" Tamara said, stepping closer. "Caught you in a lie."
"L-lie?!"
"You said to me that you guys arrived in a plane, and that there were no towns nearby."
The memory was all too familiar to Randy as he stuttered more.
"We-we...erm, I..."
"Hey, calm down."
"Al-alright..."
"Because if you don't tell me why you lied..."
Tamara pointed outside. Randy looked out the window. The bear was staring at him, his sharp teeth showing.
Randy started stuttering more, but stopped after seeing the girl chuckling to herself.
"Wha-why are you laughing?" He said, shaken.
She stopped.
"I'm just kidding around with you."
She laughed a bit more.
"Is that you're type of humor?" He said, slightly awestruck. "Scaring people half to death?!"
"Pretty much." She said, taking a sip from the bottle.
"That's messed up..."
"Oh come on, that was actually kinda funny, seeing you panic like that."
Randy softened up.
"Heh...maybe in a sense..."
"But in all seriousness, I need you to help me get to a town here."
"I-wait, why me?"
"Well, maybe it has to do with that you are the only person to find me and NOT shoot at me."
"We were just interested in the bear, for its fur, you know?"
"Well that didn't stop both of your friends from trying to kill me, now did it?"
Randy looked down.
"You owe me, you know that?"
"I owe you?!" Randy said. "I freed that bear of yours!"
"And I got shot by one of your friends. I think that counts for three."
Randy grumbled.
"Tomorrow. Wait at the end of the road."
"Alright."
Randy turned around and opened the door.
"Now you can leave."
"Aw come on, can't I stay for one night?"
"Wi-with me?" He said, sheepishly.
"Just on the couch is fine."
Randy hesitated.
"Pleease?"
"...fine..."
"I also need your shower."
"There's no hot water though..."
"Does it look like I care?"
Tamara signaled to the dirt on her face and in her hair.
"Fine, fine, whatever..." Randy grumbled. "Just don't make too much noise, I'm a light sleeper."
