"Todoroki was that an attempt at a compliment!?"

My fingers diligently clicked on the console in my hands, eyes glued to the screen as I walked through the streets.

I tried to ignore the soreness of my legs and back as I tapped my foot anxiously. I had grown accustomed to dealing with it and trying to drive all my attention into my game, dying slightly inside as I got hit in my racing game. That only drove my focus, though, attempting to win back my first place.

My phone was ringing all there while in my bag, but I couldn't spare that any of my attention.

Again, a twinge of pain hit my legs from being so worn out. They were littered in bruises and scrapes due to the fact I started training with Hitoshi. For some reason, now he was super into it, knocking at my door every weekend at like 6 AM to get me up and train.

Sure, it made him stronger but it doesn't really benefit me, I win every single match against him.

But, I wasn't one to hold stupid stuff like that over his head. I simply shook it off once I realized what his goals were, and he was actually really cool one you started talking to him. He was also a big sweetheart when talking about cats.

I grit my teeth at the painful feeling shooting through my body, simply trying to ignore it a bit more.

The only reason I brought my console was because I had such a long train ride to Todoroki's. I was nervous about going, since he fucking called it an estate when we were discussing where to meet up.

So, clearly this place was fancy. With that thought, I wore a pleated white skirt, alongside a (f/c) sweater. It wasn't too dressed up, but I hoped it was enough.

I missed being comfortable, not liking the curious stares from strangers. I just furiously clicked on my hand console, the sudden stop of the train making me whip my head around towards the doors.

Once I looked back down, I groaned at the big numbers that read I was in 12th, or last. I just finished off the sad race and got up from my seat, grabbing my backpack and hurrying out of the train's doors. I already knew the location once I was out of the station, I had looked it over about a dozen times.

What I didn't expect, though, was that those calls were coming from Todoroki. The only reason I knew that was the sudden call of my name from his actual voice.

"(Y/N)," he stated, making my heart nearly stop. I darted my head up from my game and looked at him with wide eyes, sighing a breath of relief once I realized it was him. "You scared me! I didn't know you were gonna meet me here," I stated with a half smile, hand resting over my thumping heard.

He looked to me with a raised brow. "Oh. I called you, twice. You didn't pick up," he stated, two simple four word sentences that really just summed up how un-charismatic this kid was. A bashful smile spread across my lips, I had completely ignored those. "Ah, sorry, I was distracted, my phones in my bag," I explained, hand with my gaming console slightly waving as one of my fingers worked to diligently turn it off.

He looked at it with confusion, the curiosity not being able to be hidden in his eyes.

A smile etched on my face as I elbowed him playfully. "You act like you've never seen one of these in your life," I teased, twisting around and shoving it in my bag before glancing back ta the boy. He still had the stoic expression stapled on his face. "You've seen one before, right?" I asked, a bit shocked.
