*Katherine's point of view*
*The next morning*
I wake up to what sounds like birds chirping. I smile, sighing. I then get up and take a shower. Afterwards, I check the time and it's 5:43 am. I have to be at school by 7:00 am. I get dressed and text damon:
Me: "hey, good morning :)"
*two minutes later*
Damon: hey Kat, good morning ;^).
I blush and smile because he's never called me Kat before. I like it..It's cute. I then do my hair and makeup. I usually don't wear a lot of makeup, just brow products, some pot concealer to hide my blemishes and acne, and not too shimmer highlight. (Mom) "Katherine! Come eat, breakfast is ready!" (Me) "Ok Mom! Thanks!" I quickly check the time and CRAP, it's 6:30. I rush downstairs, take the food with me, get my bag, shoes ect. And rush through the door. "By mom, love you!" I say. Today, Amanda was picking me up to go to school. I text her:
Me: hey, how far are you?
Amanda: heyy, I'm 2 minutes away, let me pull up in your driveway.
Me: k, see you soon :).
Amanda pulls up into my driveway and we both wave at each other. I get in quickly. My house is 20 minutes away from my highschool. I check the time once more. It's 6:35. A sigh of relief slipped out of my mouth. We're not gonna be late. "Hey uh, is there any gum in that seat pocket right there?" "Yeah, here." "Thanks." While she's driving, we talk about our morning so far and then I brung up, Cameron, Amanda's boyfriend. "So uh, how's Cameron?" "W-what??" "Cameron, your boyfriend? How is he?" "O-oh, uh, he's fine, just stressed about a test coming up." "Oh, ok, well did you talk to him?" "Uhh, y-yea, I d-did." "Oook, why are you stuttering?" "O-oh, um, nothing you have to worry about, haha..." "have you too made out yet?" I wiggle my brows and smirk at her. She looks away from me and blushes, while driving. I can see her hands getting a little tense. "Um, yeah, I guess you could say that." I start laughing softly. "What?!" "Ohh nothing. Nothing you have to worry about." I smirk at her. She rolls her eyes and continues to drive. After a long 5 minutes, we arrive at the highschool. We get out of the car. Damon is by the front door on his phone. He notices me. He then walks up to me and Amanda. "Heyy, what's up?" "Damon Hale! Did you wait for me?" He smiles, which made me smile even more. Chuckling, he said, "Yeah, I did. It's worth seeing your beautiful face." I blush and he walks me inside. We sit in the cafeteria. "Hey, I'm gonna get some breakfast, be right back." I tell Damon. "Ok, I'll be waiting." He smirks at me and I smile back. I get a blueberry muffin and then pay for it. I start walking back to my seat. As I'm walking, I notice a blond girl, sitting in my seat talking to Damon. I get a little jealous. I then realise it's Alex. I tense up and finally reach my seat. "Hey, your in my seat." "Oh, this is your seat? I didn't know." "Yeah well, you learn something new everyday!." I give her a fake smile. She returns it. She gets up angrily and Damon looks at me worried. She then leaves."What did Alex talk to you about?" I say, jealousy. "She was telling me how we have English class together now. She also talked about how she was gonna sit next to me in that class, ect. I asked her if she was sure she wanted to sit next to me and she said yes. She needs help in English. Apparently She's failing. I told her I would think about it." I rolled my eyes. Of course she's failing English. Too bad she dosnt fail at being bitchy, I thought to myself. Damon asks, "are you ok? Hey, don't worry about it, she dosnt mean anything to me. I like you..." I blush uncontrollably and smile. "I like you too..." He leans in and kisses me gently. We both end it, smiling. *bells ringing* Amanda, pulls my arm and says, "C'mon, were gonna be late for class!" I walk with her to class.....
