I sit staring out the window of room 102b, my algebra class, 4th period, the time is 10:34. My best friend Violet sat next to me until that moment, the blur in my mind which seemed to go on for hours. Suddenly a loud estranged voice came over the loud speaker: "Lock Down, Lock Down, Lock Down." Right then I knew something was wrong, terribly wrong. Now huddling on the floor, out of the sight of the door I suddenly heard at least 10 shots ring out "tsk tsk tsk" over and over again. Suddenly I saw a girl I recognized but I did not have enough time to focus on her before she kissed me. My heart fluttered like never before. I looked over to see Violet, lips perfected puffed from kissing me when all of a sudden a loud crashing sound came from the window, shattered glass. A black figure emerged from the window stating "They will pay." The final shots rung out, hearing them crisp and clear, I looked at my best friend, slouched on my body, lifeless. I want to run a way different than last time, I can not stay here any longer. The pain is to immense.
