Cold.

It's so cold out here. I tried wrapping my hands around my arms but it just doesn't work. I'm walking back from school late because I got detention for calling the teacher a stupid hoe for saying that my mom was "hot", what the heck is wrong with him? It started to snow right when I thought this day couldn't get any worse. Stupid Michigan, always deciding to take a shit of snow on me in the most unnecessary times.

I heard a revving behind me and turned around. Probably just gonna ask me if I want a ride. No one falls for those things anymore. I walked a few more blocks and heard the car behind me...still. Huh, that's weird. I walked a little faster until I turned on the street that leads to my house. "Hey." I turned around to the unfamiliar voice. It was a man wearing a Yankees cap sitting in the passenger seat of a rusty white pickup truck. There was another man in the drivers seat staring holes into me. I decided to play it safe, "Hello." I responded with a weak smile. He grinned, flashing his yellow teeth. I grimaced at his smile. "Would you like a ride to your home?" Called it. Who does this guy think he is? My mother works in the FBI, of course I know some type of self defense. "No thanks." I said and turned around to keep on walking. I kept my pace up as I heard the car following me. I started speed-walking. Just a few more houses to mine. "Are you sure, Darling?" he asked. I heard a car door open. Crap.

My eyes widened as I turned around and saw him just a few feet away from me. He grinned his yellow grin and walked towards me slowly. I took a step back but he stepped forward. Now only 3 feet away from me I turned and ran. Come on, almost there, almost there. I gasped as I felt an aggressive hand grab my wrist, pulling me to him. "Come here." He urged as he pulled me to him. I reacted fast. I twisted my wrist and grabbed his, pulling him into me into the process. I slammed my knee into his groin and he let out a painful groan, letting my wrist go. I took one last glance at the man in the driver's seat. He wasn't doing anything, just staring at me and talking into his phone.

I turned and ran as fast as I could to my house. Taking out my key and unlocking the door and running inside. I quickly locked the door and leaned on it and closed my eyes. Wow.

I was almost abducted.

Now, call me strange, but I felt the need to celebrate about this. Not the whole Almost-Getting-Abducted-by-a-Super-Weird-Guy- Celebration. But to celebrate the fact that I prevented that prick from having kids. I smiled at the thought. But quickly wiped it away once I remembered.

There was another man.

But he didn't do anything when I defended myself. But does that still mean I'm safe? I walked to a window and pulled the curtain aside by an inch. There is no car.

They saw me run to my house. They know where I live. They wanted to kidnap me and possibly rape me. But why hasn't the other man come and taken me already? I shook those thought away and focused on one thing right now. I'm safe.

That's the only thing that matters. I walked to the kitchen and took out a tub of Ben & Jerry's. It always makes me feel better. I took a spoon from the cabinet and went to sit down in the living room where the TV is at. Turning on Teen Wolf. Dylan O'Brien is just so cute. Even at 12 years old I can admit that.

After watching two episodes I hear a car pull up in the driveway. Immediately my senses kicked in and I turned off the TV and dashed behind the island in the kitchen. "Clove? I'm home!" The familiar voice from my mother calmed me, "Yeah, Mom. I'm in the kitchen." I stood up right before she walked into the kitchen, "Your teacher called." She gave me a stern look. You know that look that just makes you wish the floor could swallow you whole.

"Oh, really? Did he tell you about how much of a good student I am? She must've. I'm incredible." I said with a smug smile. She lifted her brow and my smile disappeared, "No, not at all. Calling him a stupid hoe for no reason isn't a good thing, Clove." She crossed her arms around her chest looking more intimidating.

I bit the inside of my cheek looking for a response. "It wasn't for no reason," I stated, looking into her blue eyes that mirror mine, "She said you were 'hot' in front of the whole class." I threw my hands up in the air, "And you know what else? Some guy tried to kidnap me just an hour ago so I'm not in a very good mood right now, Mom!" I widened my eyes. I didn't mean to tell her that. It just slipped.

Her eyes didn't widen in the slightest. Her face was void of any emotion. Her eyes boring into mine. "I know." she simply stated. I froze. How did she know? Did she have anything to do with it? No, i shouldn't think like that. She wouldn't do that to me. "I put them up to it."

Never mind.
